Hi candy, I really enjoyed this type of video, thanks for taking the time to record, today I’m cooking a lovely roast lamb lunch and taking it slow and steady xx
Hey Sarah, I’m so so glad you enjoyed it! It was really fun putting it together! Oh how lovely, sounds like a wonderful relaxed Sunday ahead for you! Enjoy! Xx
Hi Pauline, so glad you enjoyed it! Will have to make a trip to Aldi next I think as haven’t been there in so so long!! Have a wonderful Sunday and week ahead! Much love xxx

Great video. Ended up going straight out to our local Lidl after watching this and came back with a haul of our own, inspired by many of the items in your vlog!
Love watching as always ❤❤❤❤ sadly here in Australia we only have Aldi. None of the other shops you mentioned are available to us in NSW. Which is why i love watching these types of vlogs.
Hi Lisa, thank you so much, so chuffed you enjoyed it! I’m the same, I love watching groceries hauls from around the world, seeing everyone’s different stores and prices! I was just saying I think I’ll head to Aldi next time, as haven’t been for a long while! Have a wonderful rest of your weekend and week ahead! Xx
Hello again Candy….. just wanted to thankyou because I absolutely loovvee every vlog you up load. You are an absolute delight to watch. Much love Hayley ❤
Good morning Candy! Thanks for sharing your grocery shopping and haul. I really enjoyed it! Lidl looks like an amazing store! It’s similar to our Aldi stores in the US, but Lidl has much more. You are so lucky! Take care and have a great week! ❤
For my toddler we do mostly in season, canned (in juice) or cheap fruit. Bananas are usually 35 cents a pound and in season apples are 99cents a pound. Berries usually run $2 to 4 for 8oz. Were about to be done with apples as prices are rising and switch back to canned peaches and pears to go with bananas til strawberry season starts.
Hi Candy, I'm a Sainsburys girl through and through, fresher produce lasts way longer, and if you shop smartly a lot is price matched to Aldi or Lidl, everyone's different, you do you x
Hi new to your channel. instant mash is really nice, we have it loads. unless we have roasties or jacket, has anyone told you. you look like Tiffney from eastenders. or love actually star.
Morning Candy. Great vlog thank you, the price of food now is just shockingly ridiculous. Good to see the selection they have as I’ve not been in there for eons lol. I’m laid up after having foot surgery on Wednesday so need all the distractions I can get from the pain 😮. Enjoy your weekend ❤
Hi, Sainsbury's is my local, they price match, also lots of great offers. Powdered mash is not good ,frozen is great, especially if I am the only one wanting it. Pop one portion in the microwave, with tiny bit of butter.X
OMG I am Angolan and is the only way I eat my avocado with sugar as a desert but my daughter can’t stand that way and they eat on sandwiches and salads!! Nice vlogs as always enjoy babes !!!
Candy, the Idahoan mashed potatoes you showed are really nice. In Sainsbury’s they do that one with roasted garlic and it’s delicious. It’s not something I usually buy but that particular one is delicious.👍 x
Loving your food shopping haul. I was brought up in Durban and you mentioned making a Durban curry. How do you make yours? I have a 2L mason jar of spices I had made up by a South African Lady who scooped all the spices used to make a Durban curry. It’s been in my fridge for around 4 years now and loosing its authentic flavour so need to replenish. I am on a South African Recipe site on Facebook and asked what spices and quantities I need to make up a good sized batch and had hundreds of replies. I just need to collate and buy the spices ready to make another batch. Love avocados and again another staple in SA, unfortunately the avo’s are not as rich as the ones in SA but make do with what we can get here. We often had sugar and avocado mixed together for a quick dessert 😋 Quite often I have an avocado mashed with salt and vinegar on a sandwich/toast 😋 😋. Love, love, love your vlogs, thanks for sharing. Take care 🤗🤗
Oooooooooo really!!! I will definitely have to head there when this happens then! Will have a little Google and check the dates 💕 thank you Julie!!! Xx
Hello Candy, olive oil is very expensive in New Zealand, I believe there is a storage of it world wide, due to the weather in Europe, can’t believe how cheap your tins of baked beans are ! We loved them in New Zealand with bacon and eggs on a Sunday for breakfast. Thanks for showing us your local supermarket 🥰🤗 xx all is great with us, I am better now from having Bronchitis. 😊 have an awesome week. Much love Maria xx
Hi Candy nice to see your haul, wow !not expensive for everything you bought. I believe you said 118 $euro that’s abt 180 cdn$ ..we just spent (459$cdn) yesterday Walmart Canada just food. Groceries here are so expensive and housing also .. That Mexican Fajita box you said 3 pounds equals 5.40 $ here they cost 8.49Cdn$.. By the way we’re 2 seniors and I cook every day. Families with kids are barely getting by, and so many are homeless, it’s awful and so sad.Canada until a few years ago was the Land to immigrate to , not anymore.Hopefully with new elections , we’ll get someone to try to bring our economy back to affordability. We also have absolutely no Healthcare , if your sick , you need to pay private or wait 20 hours in ER. So much for the reality of where I live in and have all my Life. Europe as I see, is the place to retire to. All the best for you and your little Family❤️
I dont frequent lidl often but my support worker took me there as, I think, the 2nd store she took me too when i started going out again last year.... shes an extremely frugal person... but the way she was in the 'middle of lidl' showed me an entirely new side of her and for once it was me having to nudge her like 'are you sure you need that???'
Hi Candy! As a Canadian girl, I shop primarily at No Frills and Walmart. You really seemed to get a lot of really good bargains. I googled the exchange rate and your haul would have been a little over $200 Canadian. I understand the fruit costs all too well. My boy is now 9 years old and he still eats us out of fruit every week..lol. Have a lovely week! 🌸
Oh I only use alidl when I get a voucher on the app to stock up on the protein pots and squash I tend to buy meal deals from Tesco and Asda do great fruit pots for work 3 for 2 👏😄💖
I generally shop at Asda and Aldi. Our Lidl is next door to Aldi so always enjoy a browse. I'd say their fruit and veg is definitely superior to Aldi. When time permits I do enjoy a look around all the supermarkets. It pays to shop around 😊. I'm with you on the avocado 🤮. I've tried it every way ... but no 😂 x
jus tone neg thing like everyone doing food vlogs i love it but you dont have to pic so much up to show we can see with out i will get moaned at for saying this but to many peopel touch things and its not good x
I love a food haul or vlog and I prefer the person to pick up items it gives the watcher a more indepth look, thanks Candy for picking up lots of things 😂😂😂😂
@Anna-kp7vn your absolutely right ! Nobody did die but why even comment that, is it that deep lol the she picked up several items whilst shopping , really ?? I think I speak for myself and plenty of others after reading the comments that it's great to see in detail what's in store , I think most UA-cam vlogs have a " fast forward " button just click that 😀
Good haul Candy, nice to see different prices as l use Aldi, will have to give Lidl a go see if there is any difference x
Love this xx
