Blade Runner 2049 is the best dystopian movie that I have ever seen or heard of. It is the only movie that accurately portrays the future humanity is destined for: lives filled with empty pleasure, advanced technology, and loneliness. In essence, Blade Runner 2049's world is only an exaggerated version of ours, with sexual deviancy, technology, and extreme loneliness. I can't stress that enough. What also contributes to this accuracy to the future of real life is that Officer K is just the side character, another tool for someone else's goal. The movie was centered around K, even though the plot wasn't, and I think that is a very difficult (but very well done) balance to strike. It perfectly portrays the feeling most people have today: working tirelessly for a system that doesn't care or even know about them. Example: when a massive company has one of its workers die, it just hires a new one to take its place, like a robot on an assembly line. That's my take on it, but we're headed for a dark future. One not too far from what Blade Runner 2049 shows...
I love how everything is hopeless in BR2049 despite mankind being stronger and more powerful than ever as a collective. Has full control over their planet and the entire solar system, but everything around them and inside of them is long dead. I hope we never end up like this. It's worse than getting extinct... And the main character is so wholesome, even an AI fell for him at the cost of its own destruction. This movie is one of those rare gems these days.
Apparently they were going to make a third one, but the box office numbers of 2049 ruined it. But they are making a live action show for Amazon called Blade Runner: 2099

Incredible technologies on the one hand and terrible poverty and hopelessness among the vast majority on the other. I really relate to K. Most of life feels lonely, such that even when youre with other people you still feel isolated and alone. It feels like you will never have someone to spend time with.
Hated or used by humans. Hated or used by Replicants. Loved only by an artificially intelligent program. Respected by a veteran of his profession, but because of his choices. A creation from nothing, meaning nothing. Choosing to be something more. Choosing to die for the right cause, reuniting a father and daughter. The most human thing one can do.

@@jrg7146 nah bro it has a lot of glitches it's gotta be like GTA 5 but futuristt
@@sorandom081 it has flaws but it nails the atmosphere and has a really good story and characters and pretty fun gameplay
The interlinked part..yeah i felt that in the heart
The cinematography in this movie is insane
Truly astounding edit ! After Dark's vibe goes perfectly with the dark and moody atmosphere of the movie !
The greatest i've seen on here
This movie was perfect. Don't realize that we'll have a part three someday, but... I'd like to see.
Apparently they were going to make a third one, but the box office numbers of 2049 ruined it. But they are making a live action show for Amazon called Blade Runner: 2099
Probably will be too woke to be good.
All new movies are ruined by propoganda.
@@ValueNL so goddamn true.
My man you said it perfectly
@@gunnarb9525 eww hello nah
I can't even put it into words how stunning Ana de Armas is..
She's Cuban obviously, but the women look very similar in Columbia as well. Stunning.
this song and Ana de Armas are so beautiful 😍
I remember watching this movie for the first time when i was 15 yr old i think, and i must admit it is one of the best movies I've ever seen
I love how this song became the unofficial official theme song of this movie.
Dude I love that you included the baseline test, I really do, the fact that you did it makes this my favorite Bladerunner 2049 edit
such a good edit to add tension
Damn, how I love this movie. It encapsulates perfectly how lost I feel in this world...
I WONT SAY, this is the best movie i have ever seen in my life. i will say however - this is the BEST MOVIE i have ever seen in my life. Imagine if this song was included in that movie...
Epic
It was not bad, I give it that much.
@@NtoTheM its was amazing
It's a masterpiece
What are other movies did you like?
I just love the fact that clips are changing some frames after a beat. Looking splendidly.
This song goes good with this edit of Blade Runner. Well done!
I just watched the movie for the first time like 5 min ago ! I feel so stupid I never see it before juste because it was not a success.. Now it became one of my favorites movie all time and I can't wait to watch it again ! And I fell in love with Ana de Armas again. I've forgot how she's beautiful and why she was my favorite actress because how cute she is. 😍
This song always reminds me to keep going. Even though I want to give up and let the demons inside win. I. Must. Keep. Fighting.
Yeah man even if you go down, you gotta get back up and see the end of this life.
One of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard combined with one of the most beautiful women ever to exist. Perfection.
I don't know why. But this song with this film makes me feel incredibly melancholic.
man, this is one of the best movie, of all time... the feelings, the vibe, the music, everything about it is awesome. the thing, that K isnt the main character, but still is. if i could forget it, and rewatch it, i would be so happy.
Besides this brilliant blend of this extremely undervalued movie with this great song: What is it about this song, that I can listen to it endlessly for years ??? Somehow Mr Kitty managed to create a song that is absolutely timeless and I think will live on forever.
Incredible technologies on the one hand and terrible poverty and hopelessness among the vast majority on the other. The huge metropolis is packed with people, but each of them is terribly lonely and unhappy, busy only with his own survival. Probably one of the best images of cyberpunk in cinema, as well as the world to which we slide every year.
This movie will make more sense for men and women as each decade passes 😢
When his virtual girl placed her chin on her hand and asked "How was your day?" with those sympathetic eyes...I felt like a dying man in a desert being givin water. To come back from a hard days work to a loving wife keeping the house is but a dream now.
one of a few things that dont have a price
If you call that thing a loving wife you haven't paid attention.
@@NtoTheM If you're missing my point (which you are), you haven't paid attention.
@@brianpeck4035 Like I said, but this time slow so even you should get it:
*If you call that thing a loving wife you haven't paid attention.*
I know reading comprehension can be hard if you're not the brightest up there, but you could try at the very least.
@@NtoTheM That's why I called it...."his virtual girl". I never said that programing and hardware is a loving wife. My message was not for you. It was more nuanced than you could handle and you've clearly blown a circuit. Time for your baseline test...interlink
I love that Plankton’s holographic meatloaf is played straight in this movie, and it works thematically.
Dying for the right cause is most human thing we can do.
I listened to this all my way to Nightshift in Luxembourg.. such an amazing song to drive through the night on the autobahn.
Watched the movie again after watching this video. What a story! And every frame is a masterpiece.
Do you ever hold your pee for a really long time and then get a shiver when you finally get to a bathroom? Interlinked

Do you ever let out a fart but it feels like more than a fart and you’ve got to check now? Interlinked.

Oh God I laughed so hard
She is so stunning. Loved that sequel
this song makes me sad asf... no hope at all in the future
The love, the pain I feel. I cannot describe ❤
The perfect tune and imagery. Thanks.

Sometimes I forget how beautiful Sean Young was. Thank you for reminding me.
This movie was a masterpiece and such a great story following the first film
I can’t get this film out of my head… so, so good. Amazing edit.
A great movie, and massively underrated.
So was the original.
Best version so far, thanks for this. The Blade Runner universe is fascinating and I hope Villeneuve (or R. Scott) keeps making movies.
Beautiful , absolutely beautiful .
(I still listen to this music before work, for inspiration. And don't ask me how it works )))))))
I just found this music vid. Exactly on my birthday which happens to be Jan 29 a year ago! Honestly this really speaks to me as I felt this deep loneliness and moving in life empty, i have childhood abuse background left my abuser at age 14. Ever since now still managing my trama and of my depression, anxiety, and bit of ptsd. This was a welcoming birthday gift a year ago in time when i felt lije S*it. Thank you for posting this. Hope to all of you to have a swell life and give love to yourselves don't you ever forget that ❤
this movie gave me chills, one of the best dystopian/sci fi movies for me
Loved the part from 1:39 - 3:00, u captured that perfect. How was ur day and "u can pick up your bonus" hit hard.
Это великолепно
I really relate to K. Most of life feels lonely, such that even when youre with other people you still feel isolated and alone. It feels like you will never have someone to spend time with.
Someday this movie will age like a fine wine.
Of all the Mr Kitty clips on UA-cam i consider the Bladerunner 2049 ones the most fitting. ❤
Ana de Armas is out of this world 😍
*that Cuban girl is so gorgeous 😍*
She is Mexican
@@MRGAMER__________ please tell me you're referencing Knives Out where the running joke is incorrectly guessing where Ana De Armas is from? lmao

Despite all the criticism I received for favoring Ryan as one of Hollywood's all time greats, he continues to showcase that talent and true presence in a wide range of captivating roles. Though as a man I refuse to acknowledge the Barbie movie's existence.
In the next 100 years, we won't be here
When I was 18, Rick Decard was my hero. Probably still is.There was a series of novels based on him. K is much the same . He has that same stand alone wolf complex. Like myself.
one of the best edits
This song are perfectly transmits atmosphere when you immersion in the consciousness of thoughts
Этот фильм всегда мне нравился. Но в последнее время мне кажется, что это одно из лучшего, что я когда либо видел.
I replay this edit an unhealthy amount of times
