I would sit with my teammates, coach, physical trainer to get spotted with my mistakes on field than watching with the celebrities, politicians, friends who know nothing about the game and come to see me give my best. Igor Stimac as a coach could implement certain play that is quiet positive for our football but still there was certain voids in the gameplay that was quiet visible. It remains a question whether Igor Stimac didn't work on those things or he failed on the implementation of his strategies. On the other hand, AIFF, no doubt is corrupted. High authorities, I feel are the people only with ego, I am also sure that they don't even have any plan on how to develop our football moving forward. This politics would not allow any right person to have the power in AIFF, which is quiet disappointing. There are many things that we don't that affects our progress like proper scouting team, enough power for any coach to make decisions on developing freely and many more. This current situation where AIFF has to pay 3 crores will make situation more worse for the upcoming coach because the federation won't provide much funds and also we have lost our most experience player Sunil Chettri. I hope things get better just because I want our team to compete against good teams just like in cricket but it's quiet a long way for this to happen.
We failed in WC qualifier, we failed as a nation. Not only coaches or AIFF, every fan has a vital role to grow India as a footballing national. I'm not saying they're innocent but it's too easy to blame someone else but they had their own limitations. The annual budget of AIFF is approximately 100cr and earning almost 60cr from FSDL which is not sufficient for next year's budget. For running projects in a vast country like India money matters. Blame someone else is always a easy thing. The main supply line of Indian Football is grassroots, always seeking limelight and always neglected. Now we had a golden generation with technically more sound player because of u17 WC2017, where our u16 players spend more than six months in Europe and played plenty of matches with europian teams. But after that how many matches our youth teams played against worthy opponents. We always playing SAFF & AFC matches with minimum preparation, average 5/6 matches in a year. Sorry to say it could be our last golden generation unless we get opportunity to hosting another big tournament. I would sit with my teammates, coach, physical trainer to get spotted with my mistakes on field than watching with the celebrities, politicians, friends who know nothing about the game and come to see me give my best. My coach and trainer scolding me for my mistakes will make me improve more than my friends. Many of you may or may not agree with me but this is a fact.
In my opinion, Its not the fault of Kalyan Chaube, Top division league was already sold to ambani before his arrival. as a result aiff can't even make profit from that & can't even control the schedule. There were no youth league before his arrival. He did many good things like starting the youth leagues. focusing on the state league, promotion from ileague.
its one & only the fault of previous aiff committee which sold every thing & even take a ban form fifa & then left peacefully.
Bhai you mentioned Aiff's baby league. System is soo bad that in my city they mere planning for it. Even had some practice and warmup sessions but even before half a match could be played. The guys running the finance aspect of it ran away with all the funds and money provided by AIFF. This is a harsh reality. Our people are best in one thing and that is too ruin the nation with corruption.

Igor Stimac as a coach could implement certain play that is quiet positive for our football but still there was certain voids in the gameplay that was quiet visible. It remains a question whether Igor Stimac didn't work on those things or he failed on the implementation of his strategies.
On the other hand, AIFF, no doubt is corrupted. High authorities, I feel are the people only with ego, I am also sure that they don't even have any plan on how to develop our football moving forward. This politics would not allow any right person to have the power in AIFF, which is quiet disappointing. There are many things that we don't that affects our progress like proper scouting team, enough power for any coach to make decisions on developing freely and many more. This current situation where AIFF has to pay 3 crores will make situation more worse for the upcoming coach because the federation won't provide much funds and also we have lost our most experience player Sunil Chettri.
I hope things get better just because I want our team to compete against good teams just like in cricket but it's quiet a long way for this to happen.

We failed in WC qualifier, we failed as a nation. Not only coaches or AIFF, every fan has a vital role to grow India as a footballing national. I'm not saying they're innocent but it's too easy to blame someone else but they had their own limitations. The annual budget of AIFF is approximately 100cr and earning almost 60cr from FSDL which is not sufficient for next year's budget. For running projects in a vast country like India money matters. Blame someone else is always a easy thing.
The main supply line of Indian Football is grassroots, always seeking limelight and always neglected. Now we had a golden generation with technically more sound player because of u17 WC2017, where our u16 players spend more than six months in Europe and played plenty of matches with europian teams. But after that how many matches our youth teams played against worthy opponents. We always playing SAFF & AFC matches with minimum preparation, average 5/6 matches in a year. Sorry to say it could be our last golden generation unless we get opportunity to hosting another big tournament.
