Generally, the Principles are:
1. Ask God to forgive you for your known and unknown sins
2. Ask God to Clear up your mind so you are receptive to The Holy Spirit's impressions
3. Ask God to give you His Holy Spirit.
4. Do not dwell on generalities...Pray Specific prayers
5. Ask God to surround you with an atmosphere of light and peace from Heaven.
