Winters coming
Hazel is insane in the best way possible. I guess all free solo climbers are, but she seems relaxed and at peace when most others seem focused and determined. It’s like her home is the mountains.
Apart from Chequers, there's not much gear on those routes anyway...! You might as well solo. Keen for DHR one day, though not sure I'll be chill enough to take both hands off ;)

In slow motion you can see there is something under the trouser...think it is a blue screen hidden toprope....fake like 99% of climbing
they look so weak, not in shape, without colour in their face....
I almost threw up when Hazel let go at around 6:45 :O Just love her! She's the raddest climber out there!
I'm still baffled how she manages a no hands rest, but that's why she climbs so hard and I cannot!!!

Do you feel that the publicization a free soloing buy some of the more affluent climbers has become almost mandated to keep up with Alex? Maybe there should have been some sort of commentary into what the climbers on-site grades project grades were vs there free solo grades. That way the younger climbers don't get the idea that all pro climbers free solo at their limit.
Good suggestion. This is WAY below their limit.

Nein das is falsch, Sie machen viel trainieren fur diesen steigen. Als fur einige Leute klettern is mehr als sport! (Es tut mir leid, meine deutsch is nich so gut)
Sorry , aber die Freikletterer sind schon immer auch Solo gegangen , auch vor hundert Jahren im Elbsand. Abgesehen davon dass es mit den damaligen Seilen eh kreuzgefährlich war.

Michele Chernega this was ten years ago... She's been free soloing ever since she was a kid. Think this is well within her capabilities and tbh she's free to do whatever the fuck she likes really. Personally I think she's cool as fuck, I'd marry her tomorrow, no hesitation
