Wow! Amazing snare! What snare and tuning did you use to achieve that fat snare?

Thank you!! This is a 14x8 Ludwig Black Magic. The tunning is basically to crack up the reso head and medium-low tune the batter head. Then you have to control the overtones with something like moongel or snare weight etc.

Also, keep in mind that this is the way to get a fat snare sound for live acoustic (no mics). What you're hearing in this video is a processed sound of that same snare and tunning, which I get by applying some plugins, mixing and mastering, this way I can improve it's sound even more.

Hey beginner here what are some resources I can use to learn drums from?

      Hey, thanks for your comment.
First of all, I highly recommend one-on-one drum lessons, if you can. It's not very efficient to learn drums only from internet resources. With good drum lessons, you will be able to avoid mistakes that will delay your progression in the long run, for exemple: correct seating position, correct grip of the sticks, pedal techniques and other things that might look simple but actually aren't.
If you're already doing that, here are some youtube channels that I use to learn more about drums and music in general:
      -Daniel Bernard
      -Drumeo
      -Stephen Clark
-Sounds like a drum (to learn about tunning and drum sound in general)
      -Sunday Seat
      -Worship Artistry
      -Worship Drummer
      -WorshipOnline
I also recommend you follow the instagram and youtube of some pro worship and gospel drummers from the bands you like. You can learn a lot just by watching their drum cams. Here are some:
      - Chris Strawder (Tauren wells and lakewood)
      - David Whitworth and Joe Volk (bethel music)
      - Sebastian Suarez (upperroom)
      - Brendan Tan (hillsong yef)
      - Dan McMurray (hillsong worship)
      - Simon Kobler (hillsong united)
      - luke anderson, dominic gerald and vincent baynard (elevation worship)
