el mejor tenor rosiniano que he conocido. Ha resucitado partituras que estaban en los cajones olvidadas por no haber tenores de su agilidad vocal para superar las exigencias vocales que presentan las obras del gran compositor italiano. Parece tan fácil....
I used to go to the concerts in Central Park, NY to see Pavarotti + Domingo, attended by thousands. They were magnificent. In perfect weather you'd be under the stars + the moon. I thoroughly enjoyed this JDFlorez concert bc it brought back those memories. His lyrical tenor is beautiful to listen to, has such mastery over his voice, and his program was varied, interspersed with Spanish songs. Of course he's easy on the eyes as well!!!

Me encanta la ópera pero cuando los tenores centroeuropeos se limitan a opera en italiano, alemán y la típica en francés, me deja siempre con algo faltando. Las zarzuelas, los boleros, los tangos son nuestros del mundo hispano hablante y hay que meterlos!

This concert should be added to UNESCO's List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. It is just that beautiful. The fact that it was performed and recorded in Amsterdam, outside in the open air, and at a time when smartphones were not yet invented makes it all the more beautiful. It is amazing to remember and witness again a time when people in the audience could just sit there and truly enjoy themselves by just listening to a wonderful and timeless performance. Juan Diego is just spectacular here, his voice full of joyfulness, passion, confidence and hope for the future, it is as if he knew in his heart all the wonderful things that would come his way in the years to come. And what to say about the audience: attentive, respectful and truly immersed in the performance and enjoying themselves by drinking wine and eating cheese, relaxing on their boats, standing on their balconies, sitting on their seats or on the bank of the river, dancing, and singing "La Donna e Mobile". It is a testament to a wonderful and bygone era that is never to return. Just amazing! Eres un grande Juan Diego. ¡Simplemente bellísimo! ¡Que viva México y que viva el Perú!

Habiendo tanto talento reconocido por el mundo entero, no pueda reflejarse en tantos ámbitos de la vida pública en mi querido Peru.
This concert should be added to UNESCO's List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. It is just that beautiful.
The fact that it was performed and recorded in Amsterdam, outside in the open air, and at a time when smartphones were not yet invented makes it all the more beautiful. It is amazing to remember and witness again a time when people in the audience could just sit there and truly enjoy themselves by just listening to a wonderful and timeless performance.
Juan Diego is just spectacular here, his voice full of joyfulness, passion, confidence and hope for the future, it is as if he knew in his heart all the wonderful things that would come his way in the years to come.
And what to say about the audience: attentive, respectful and truly immersed in the performance and enjoying themselves by drinking wine and eating cheese, relaxing on their boats, standing on their balconies, sitting on their seats or on the bank of the river, dancing, and singing "La Donna e Mobile". It is a testament to a wonderful and bygone era that is never to return. Just amazing!

Mozart canta in tedesco lingua che non ha musicalità. Provi a confrontare la Trilogia di R. VAGNER La caduta delle Walchirie, Un vascello fantasma, Orfeo e Euriduce, Lonegrin....mancano di musicalità, cioè di *QUELLA MELODIA RIPETITIVA CHE NON STANCA MAI* QUESTE PAROLE, A VENEZIA SONO STATE DETTE DA RICHRD WAGNER A GIUSEPPE VERDI.

Votre sourire, votre simplicité et votre charme ajoutent encore tant d'émotion à vous écouter et vous voir. A 82 ans, je ne peux songer à la musique sans penser à vous avec qui je n'ai malheureusement jamais eu l'immense joie de pouvoir partager un concert ou un opéra en VRAI DIRECT.
