I never knew this arcade game ever existed at all, it's good to see how it looks from the gameplay and the bonus after winning a race. Gameplay: It's pretty much Ridge Racer but in an arcade cabinet from the '90's, need i say more? Attract mode: the letters flash so fast...my eyes just don't like that honestly... (i don't mind Reiko Nagase or that mysterious woman dancing in the BG) Male Voices: i'd say it's ok but it's below the other male voices from the original Ridge Racer or Ridge Racer Revolution from PSX Female Voices: Reiko Nagase (if it isn't Reiko Nagase then i dunno who it is then -_-) basiclly sounds really really weird, although it is my 1st time seeing this Ridge Racer spinoff, i'll just let those sfx slide for once (in my opinion it is...meh...Rage Racer easily beats this one's voice acting) Bonus: After you win in any of the 3 tracks, you can play a game on running as many cones as possible, umm okay, it is something i guess, it may be seen as a prize for winning a race. Unlockables: The only unlockable is Mirror mode, if you win on the Professional Course (Mountain), the credits show up, and after that it shows you the way how to unlock Mirrored tracks, nothing else Vehicle Select: It is possible to change the car in the service menu, normally it is the same one for every single race.
Just one small correction: the car is actually the same for every race. You can change it in the service menu, which I did between races (not in the video), but if you were playing this game at a real arcade, you wouldn't be switching vehicles from one race to the next.
