How to remove battery Harley Davidson Street rod 750

Man about to help my buddy replace one of these. They really went out of their way to make this a pain in the ass.

I installed a light kit on one of these today and it’s WAY safer to remove the ground (neg) cable first, then the positive.
By grounding out the positive terminal with your wrench contacting the frame, You could cause damage to your electrical components, or at the very least blow a fuse.
It’s always good practice to remove your ground first. You can touch the frame while removing the ground, as it’s already grounded. Once the ground is remove, it’s ok if the positive touches, because it is no longer grounded (cannot create a complete circuit)

Exactly, disconnect ground first and positive last, reverse on installation.

I want to install a usb charger with an inbuilt circuit breaker , i would connect one to the positive which u removed first and second to the negative to the battery or to the earthing terminal ??? ( not a very electronic guy )
