@@brendadotter4433 Thanks Brenda. I see things have moved on since those heady days of first hearing him in 2018 and searching in vain for anything else about him! Good for him. I hope he has a full career ahead of him in acting and in singing.
@Rozzar1 Jack & Ben Barnes have a similar challenge. How do they combine their musical gifts with acting in films & TV? Jack is getting into TV acting at the same age Ben got into film acting. Obviously, they have both performed in stage musicals, so perhaps they'll be in some film musicals as well. Ben has woven his singing into some of his film roles, but singing in different styles not his own. Recently, he released a 5-song EP of his own original songs, but he has said that it's quite difficult to work on producing his own music when he's also on an acting job. I hope the entertainment industry embraces more performers who try to pursue both acting & singing. It would be a shame for either of these multi-talented gentlemen to not share ALL of their gifts with the world!
@@brendadotter4433 No I agree, but I would think Jack would be best suited to musicals work. That way he could pursue both talents, without compromise. It's hard to know what artists really want to sing, since you only see them in performances in roles they have been offered, but I got the impression at the Duke Special concert that Jack felt very comfortable with that sort of singing. I may be wrong....
Lyrics: Somewhere I had seen before An unknown river flows Wherever it wants to be That's where the huckleberry grows The spirit in some distant place The place that no one knows Wherever it wants to be That's where the huckleberry grows On mountain sides, where rushing tides Are tearing at the rock From earth it breaks And mischief makes Around the prairie Dock And in the grey sky morning In the cruelest wind that blows Wherever it wants to be That's where the huckleberry grows In caves and coves It roams and roves No master to obey A pious branch No avalanche Could make it pass away It creeps into the churchyard With all them holy joes Wherever it wants be That's where the huckleberry grows It reaches out to heaven And tickles all the crows Wherever it wants to be That's where the huckleberry grows
I want to find more info about this song because I want to learn it now, but I can't find anything. I guess rewatching this over and over again is nice too. :>
Now you're asking. I had always assumed it was one of Duke Special's songs, sounds so much like what he might write. But looking at his songs, I can't find it. A challenge then for someone out there to find it.......
@@aishasandyck Well, we are clearly on two different pages here (or more probably two different generations). I don't even understand all your abbreviations. But, hey, I'm glad it gave you a good laugh. Lord knows, we can all do with that at the moment!

Have any of you "Six of Crows" fans noticed this line: "It [the huckleberry vine] reaches up to heaven and tickles all the *crows*. . . " ?!
lol i was looking for this comment
losing it
Im in love with his voice ❤
wow thanks so much for recording this - the crystal clarity of his voice is astounding. I'm so glad he's getting to do more singing now in musicals
You are very welcome. He does have a special quality to his voice.
the cool thing is that in s&b the book, wylan sings to distract the guards, so jack could easily render that scene 🥲
My sweet, darling angel baby ❤ he's the most precious human being
he is the second one i have ever seen who has such an angelic tenor voice, after Adrea Bocelli
I NEED TO SEE HIM AS ORPHEUS IN HADESTOWN HE WOULD BE SO PERFECT
Jack Wolfe, I watched your coca-cola commercial not knowing your identity and my friend challenge me to know more about you.. then here I found you.
Hey there. Do you have a link to the commercial? I hadn't heard of it...

BEAUTIFUL WYLAN
wylannnn
Yes Google translate, weep works here as well
such a magical falsetto ugh
oh to sing like a pretty tenor ;-;
Yes, I think you've hit the nail on the head there, his voice has a "magical" quality to it.
Lyrics:
Somewhere I had seen before
An unknown river flows
Wherever it wants to be
That's where the huckleberry grows
The spirit in some distant place
The place that no one knows
Wherever it wants to be
That's where the huckleberry grows
On mountain sides, where rushing tides
Are tearing at the rock
From earth it breaks
And mischief makes
Around the prairie Dock
And in the grey sky morning
In the cruelest wind that blows
Wherever it wants to be
That's where the huckleberry grows
In caves and coves
It roams and roves
No master to obey
A pious branch
No avalanche
Could make it pass away
It creeps into the churchyard
With all them holy joes
Wherever it wants be
That's where the huckleberry grows
It reaches out to heaven
And tickles all the crows
Wherever it wants to be
That's where the huckleberry grows
Some of these may be slightly wrong but I did my best :)
sobeautiful
He is adorable 😍
WYLAN OHHHHHHHHHHHHHH’HHHLHOORD
If this is in 2018, then he must be 22 years old. Jack has a baby face and it's still the same 😭😭
a search states he was born 17 December 1995
THEREFORE I NEED A DRUNK FJERDAN ANTHEM
I wanna know about him more but the information is not enough whyyyyy

Awwwww 😍
Is he going in to singing or films he has a beautiful voice
Well, he seems to have landed a plum role acting at present, so I expect any potential singing career is on indefinite hold. I agree about the voice.
When's his album coming out?
Aaaww ❤
The way he see him 1:06 uffffg😍😭
❤️❤️💕💕
He should do a Christmas album
sounds like a plan to me

I think that young man has a beautiful and captivating voice, but can't find any further reference to him?!

WYLAN VAN ECK
Where is this song from?
That my friend is the question. So far no-one has managed to find out....
he reminds me of ben whishaw. they both look a bit pale, a bit introvert, with a UK style very different from that of US.
Jack Wolfe loml
I want this on Apple Music
