And now for something very special and something particular to Co. Wexford. Here are the Camross ICA Mummers performing at our May Bush dance in Ballindaggin on May Eve just gone. I was delighted to see them perform in Ballindaggin and great to see an all women group of Mummers too. The uniforms and sticks that they are using belonged to the Dungeer Mummers and were passed onto the group. This form of performance is found over in England and also in northern Spain and I write about the connections in the new May Bush book.
