I'm still finding my feet with recording but I just got the trial and put the Decapitator on my Logic "Drummer" drums along with the Shattered Glass Audio Code Red. Oh my, with the drive around three, it's made the drums so much more alive.
All the people saying this plugin sounds bad, there's a simple explanation for why you think so: You have terrible ears and should get out of this line of work immediately...you're also not very creative, obviously, since there's a MILLION ways to use this thing.
This is my favorite fatten tool even though i use logic pro distortions to fatten also but sound toys stuff are just great. and for( ProfessaKA0S) who want it for Reason PLUGIN in the mean time you can use the Reason Scream 4 distortion .
Wow! Getting a little sensative are we? Okay, you're absolutely correct. I've heard synthetic samples in non-pro libraries for Kontakt, and then I've heard "pro" libraries like Symphobia or Cinematic Strings. I'm sure you saw a video of a pro studio before, but most studios use either Cubase, Pro Tools or Soanar because they are Industry Standard. You will most likely find FL Studio running out of somebody's bedroom studio more than a pro studio. So, your right, Kontakt is NOT a pro plugin!
Man, I swear he's wearing earphones from Apple that are wireless..... The upload year of this video is 2011!!!! wireless Apple headphones were released in 2016!! Dude, you are either from the future in this video or we are stupid humans following from behind lool
Are you aware that everything is over gaining? The hi-hat and snare starts sounding shit when you turn the drive up so much, it just sounds crush and bitty, are you using a limiter? Because when you do put the drive on, the dynamics completely disappear..i think its really important to show possible customers the best possibility quality of the sound, because it can make a big difference.
totally agreed, pro as much as a user is...I have seen talented producers do wonders on a shitty monitoring system with any DAW you offer them, and yes i did work in a "PRO" studio... and what the f%*k is a PRO studio?!? expensive, or have someone popular working or recording there, or it has many blinking lights with a lot of illuminated vu meters xD that's for kids man. be a pro=see beyond that consumer stuff.PRO TOOLS SUCKS.it used to come with converters that's why it WAS a weapon of choice.
It will have its use. My idea however is that even though plug-ins exist for soooo long by now, they still don't come anywhere near hardware. Sorry, it's just a fact. Routing your sound through an analogue Neve with outboard will prove it. No in the box mix can beat that.
About Soundtoys being pro plugins or fruity loops not being a pro daw? If you look in ANY pro studio I'd really doubt that you would find one instance of Fruity Loops Studio being installed on ANY of their systems. I'm just sayin' is all.
That's funny tho, 'cause I've seen FL Studio in use in the Black Rock Studios, so don't give me that bullshit :p Btw, there's no such thing as "pro plugins", only stable, unstable, usefull or unusefull plugins.
Anyway, exactly what then, are "Standart, or standard, plugins, in YOU're opinion, of course; and then I will explain MY opinion of which plugins are "Pro". I've done alot of studio work, and been inside many studios. I've seen what professional engineers use, and which software they avoid. I am willing to "enlighten" anyone on which plugins are in common use within these studios, just please do NOT try to insult me, I am only here to inform, not insult.
sorry, but you should consider talking less while showing and comparing examples of the sound… :D also the audio of your voice is really bad and disturbing when it comes to listening exactly to the plugins sound… just stopped watching and will need to look for another video :(
Nope, but maybe we need to model the internal mic on the MacBookPro;-)
Ok great but you didn't need to use the distortion on your voice too...
LMAOOOOOK
Perfect!!! LMAO!!!!
SoundToys' plug ins are just amazing!!!!!!!!! Keep up the good work!!!!!
I'm still finding my feet with recording but I just got the trial and put the Decapitator on my Logic "Drummer" drums along with the Shattered Glass Audio Code Red. Oh my, with the drive around three, it's made the drums so much more alive.
In my modest opinion, Soundtoys are the best audio plugins ever.
360p sound tutorial, guys pls
Published on Oct 31, 2011 This was practically HD then !!
@@favor1254 eeh.. no... 2011 isn't that long ago xD

Finally Ilock dongle free soon!!!!
Wait, what? How this guy is having earsbuds in 2011?

Raging Heretic hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!
Its cus the demo is ass, chill
Come on guys, 360p???
can it work on logic express 9?
@soundtoys Then do it! If it's overkill for someone, he can lower quality.. but even on 360 still sounds ill ;)
@soundtoys Well audio sounds crap at 360p at least do 480p so you can hear what it sounds like.
Nice, but can't get it to work in FL Studio 10 :/
This is my favorite fatten tool even though i use logic pro distortions to fatten also but sound toys stuff are just great. and for( ProfessaKA0S) who want it for Reason PLUGIN in the mean time you can use the Reason Scream 4 distortion .
Tracking. Reset scan range. Recalibrate azimuth sweep angle. Adjust elevation scan.

Nope, it's just really really usefull if you know how to use it. That goes for any DAW, it's not "pro" untill you are. And that's my point.
Damn really? Soundtoys putting out mixing “how to” videos while the dudes audio is clipping hahah
You're REALLY not helped by the video being 8bit :S

Hey mitch, who does the majority of your coding?
About Soundtoys being pro plugins or fruity loops not being a pro daw? If you look in ANY pro studio I'd really doubt that you would find one instance of Fruity Loops Studio being installed on ANY of their systems. I'm just sayin' is all.
That's because Soundtoys are Pro Plugins. FL Studio is NOT a Pro DAW. You do the math
It sounds crap when you drive it past 3.
Joshua Jackson if you like music for pussies
+bubnjarovski I have 2 HS8s and yes, it does sound like ass.
64 bit and I get this - otherwise no use to me :(
720 for sound quality!
beetlejuice

Wow, I think you almost (but not really) know what you're talking about.
Sorry....not impressed whatsoever. TS2 is looking better right now.

No one cares about HD video, care about HD audio though
