You mentioned you could and what do you know, here you are showing off that you can still play as Blue Toad in this game. The dinosaur skeleton train track emphasis to this map layout is real cool. 1:18 - I'm assuming this was a very frustrating level given your "finally" cries and the fact that you cut-out the level. 3:09 - Whole place does give me Donkey Kong Country Returns vibes (one of it's worlds has a whole skeleton dino theme throughout). The difficulty seems to have jumped up a fair bit as well, at least, when you're also trying to obtain the star coins at the same time. 5:05 - Real neat; different entry points for the level here. 6:27 - Can't Mini Mushroom run across these fellows? Maybe I'm just remembering one. Also, nice to see Nabbit once again for a surprise return. 8:00 - Gosh, the blocks come in real fast. Hilarious to encounter a level that progresses towards you. 11:33 - That was a luckily obvious one to obtain. The Yoshi here certainly helps get rid of the Lakitu and gift a free cloud to rise up. Even without both those factors, the previous level was keen to gift you with the flying squirrel power up. 14:29 - Showing off with these triple jumps. Cool boot of that bullet bill. 20:24 - A lucky find here. Who would have thought that losing your squirrel powers would be so beneficial. 21:56 - Mario boss fights tend to be pretty lacklustre, but they are at their best when they emphasise the platforming element the games are built around. Kamek creating blocks in the air that you have to jump to reach them and turning the floor below into falling platforms is a great incorporation of the platforming genre to this battle. 24:59 - Star Coin number three though. Then again, with how topsy-turvy and open ended this level is, it's understandable you'd miss out on them first time. So many options to consider in this mazey level. 29:21 - An your reward is... a Toadette exclusive item. 31:18 - Nice throw and dealing with the Piranha Plant, followed by a great job grabbing that Star Coin. This predicament was no problem for you. 34:50 - As per usual, good eye. You're a Star Coin radar. I was also wondering why this level had Boomerang in it's title when there is no boomerang power-up in this game but there you go, Boomerang Bros. 40:45 - Madam Flurry; happy to hear you bring up Thousand Year Door. Did you get enough star pieces to see her prototype designs? They were very different takes on her initial character. 44:40 - Your determination to get these Star Coins is both reckless and admirable. 46:44 - It is a pretty cool background detail. Always nice when you can the next level on the horizon.
You should play as Toadette for world 8 when peach sees toadette as peachette she says something and acts a tiny bit different before she says help for a few seconds. Because she’s confused
I had just completed world 8 today, HOWEVER I want to see this now, so I will definitely go back when I complete world 9 and definitely check this out.
