Ocean Wisdom ft Dizzee Rascal - Revvin - is the best UK rap song and music video if you ask me. It is beyond Shakespeare in it's achievements and our brains have to catch up before we realize this fact. The song forces your brain to evolve because it's so fast and fire. You can't look away. Fastest and smoothest and clearest flows you will ever hear, either from OW or anyone else, and amazing smooth and elastic flows from Dizzee who is at his best here. It is compulsory to watch the video immediately, and if you don't, I'll turn into a multicoloured demonic spider and tread on the webs of your mind.
Watch hip.hop evolution on Netflix you will see that rap was brought by a Jamaican DJ to America. Jamaican DJ were rapping way before but it was called toasting which they did on sound systems.
“Feelin like Jon Jones (MMA legend) in this bitch, still I might box man I don’t sniff, see the way I’m callin out for these G’s G’s G’s (GGG Golovkin, legendary boxer) all now I’m like Chris, did Eubank (Chris Eubank, British former boxing champion) on this kid, chasing dreams spitting like this” This guys wordplay was on another level, and he’s only gotten better
Love this reaction! First time watching you guys and love the not stopping it every two seconds approach unless actually worth it. Ocean is an animal! Big love from the uk 🇬🇧. We’ve got some fire 🔥 over here. Also, Sounds like a mad storm going on when you guys did this too?
The comment on how ocean says estuary is like the arguement of how America says "aloominum" you still know what they mean just a little different pronunciation
Roots manuva (one of the greatest ever) strange behaviour, inna, evil rabbit etc etc etc, so many tracks, listen to him cos he's quality. skinnyman, chester p etc
Another nice reaction on U.K. rap. Ocean Wisdom is just beyond words, he’s a talent all to himself, he’s a rap God and a half. Please can you do Dabbla - Get It feat. Ocean Wisdom... By the way Ocean Wisdom is his real name, it’s his birth name :)
Ocean wisdoms doing big tingz. He did a tune in January in the UK with dizzy rascal and he also did a tune with method man in the summer called the whole ting dun. WU UK
Hey man.. ocean got someone similar to him.... if you like speed 😳😳😳🤯🤯🤯 You GOT to check out Babylon dead - That’s BD Or Babylon dead - Nineteen84 Trust me. You’ll get big views and Babylon dead will share it 100, this is the artists cousin and I know he’ll share it for you, the last reaction video he shared got lotsss of views. Mad love!! UK in the place!!
You had dj Kool herc from Jamaica that started the American hip hop scene we had the 🇯🇲 🇬🇧 Windrush 🇬🇧🇯🇲 We always had it, we just did not have the internet to show the world. Bet you did not know that Slick Rick from the UK south London and it was no surprise why he was a great lyricist
Good spot with the Estuary... Honestly the whole bunch over at High Focus records have mad skills when it comes to wordplay. My recommendation... Don't wait for a recommendation... Go listen to everything High Focus has to offer. Fliptrix built an underground empire. Peace!
big up for this bro glad u reacted to ocean. check klashnekoff murder another conscious rapper and check more of uk logic warm up sessions and fire in the booth. big up g keep up the great work
Do Chester P - Gimme That. Loads of US heads getting switched onto UK shit right now but nobody has yet touched Chessa Chess and he inspired most of these cats. There was a wave of UK shit that was dope but wasn't acknowledged by the BBC because the US was still dominating when they came out and they didn't have flashy videos . Chester P was one of the top amongst that bunch and you can still hear his influence in the most modern stuff. Don't get me wrong, the new stuff like Ocean Wisdom is better, but I'm talking about the gap when the US gave up the throne and other countries started to build on what the US made, like you were saying in the vid. Peace.
Yeah Ocean is the man...... I hadn't heard any US Hip Hop for about 10 years and then had a listen and thought I'd been caught up in a practical joke or something, "where da fuck Non-Phixion or Esoteric at???, shit even Jay-Z would do!!!", all that history to be built on and it's gone so far backwards, it's non-existant, thought it was just me getting old. Either they getting lazy cos they figure no competition or it's the labels running the whole show and this is the blueprint of what it supposed to sound like. Looks like Nas nearly got it half right, not dead but on life support.
@@mawangshallhang I've listened to it a thousand times. I'm British too, so I understand his slang...heres the lyrics from the genius lyrics website, genius.com I don't know nothing about no likes In fact I don't know nothing about ghost writes But I know a little suttin' 'bout wrote mine Make of that what you will but sorry pal, I know I'm right.
It does help Charlie Sloth, for all his annoying habits, he has full control. Sure, it gets run by the BBC censor (The famous bleeped 'free Palestine' by Mic Righteous comes to mind) but he chooses who comes. Jun Tzu came, did good, but hasn't been producing on a higher plane, so he doesn't (yet) have a 2nd turn. Devlin, twice, Mic Righteous, 3 times, Akala, 4 times. Some artists? Not once. I respect Charlie and his level of quality control. There have been FITB I was feeling less, but technically and lyrically, it's basically murder every time.
Get this guy in on more videos!! And go back to other songs with him like mic righteous an that....would be good to see! Could be good for the channel too ? It's nice to see you both talk to each other about your reaction to the music 👀🔥🖒
Yeah it happened to funk n soul got the money men in n ruined it! Punk from here! Ruined commercialisation destroys! Grime came from different roads but long story but I loved the old hip hop from the us before the 2000s

You're right, our rappers do have some tight names but credit for that one has to go to man's parents because that's his actual fucking name

By the way, he did not say "know about those rites" he actually said "dont know nothing about ghost writes" implying he writes all of his own bars...
"Don't know nothin' bout ghost writes", and he caught it just fine, listen to it again.
