This is not damaru... This is udukkai from tamilnadu. Damaru would be much smaller than udukkai. And udukkai is little smaller than kerala's edakka. You will find udukkai only in tamilnadu

It is called 'Parai' with Synthetic skin on, Usually our Ancient Thamil Drum Parai (Percussion) is made up of Cow or Ox Skin, but contemprory instruments nowadays comes with Synthetic skin
