It slighlty changed. I walked down the city almost every day. I miss Brisbane. I visited some Australia's cities while I lived there. I think Brisbane is the best city in Australia :)
Interesting seeing Queen Street Mall. I remember seeing Queen Street, Brisbane, when there in August 1973, though there was no mall there in those days, from what I remember. Did you notice that all the streets with the male names cross all the streets with the female names? they seem to be quite well organised with the street names there.

Brisbane is amazing ,I've never seen this part of it , fabulous.
Prior to 1969, trams used to run up and down Queen Street. Trams made their last run in Brisbane on April 13, 1969.
Gosh seems like a different world almost a year ago. Unbelievable. How much & quickly things can change but then become the same.

You notice we have woolies and Coles in our malls, in the states there all stand alone...much more conveniant in Aus
