- after so much loss things could only get better for House Targaryen? But this was not the case, none more so than Rhaena Targaryen and her court on dragonstone, where no one was safe from a seemingly random sickness. This year would test the nerve of the young king jaehaerys and his troublesome sister, the queen in the west, Rhaena.

But in Martin history tome fire and blood there are some huge clues as to there origins and maybe a large part of there backstory of this idea is correct. All this has also got me wondering, will we get this idea confirmed in House of the dragon the new game of thrones spin-off coming in 2021.

As twisted as it is, I can kind of respect Androw. He finally got revenge against his tormentor and went out on his own terms, denying her any vengeance.

@@taycarroll1124 Maester probably gave it to him cause of the idea he was harmless lol... JK... pissed of people can end up being lucky or resourceful tbh... I doubt he was as useless as everyone is tryna make him out to be. Anyone with the proper support and backing can always improve.

Yeah she was downright toxic. Had a real venomous nature. Could almost say she was a sweet as poison.
Rhaena's life was hard and tragic but it's just like IRL it doesn't give you an excuse to take your anger out on someone, especially if they're a ticking time bomb of fragile masculinity and have access to resources to make your life even worse (not that she had much choice in the matter). That being said I think what Androw did wasn't justified even if women, wife or wife's bitchy friends, do have a way with using emasculation to elevate themselves at the expense of one's psyche. They were both in the wrong imo, especially Rhaena's possessiveness of Aerea and refusing to do what was best for her daughter by returning her to kings landing. Nothing more petty and selfish than a parent adhering to the adage of "misery loves company" when forcing their child to be as unhappy as they are. Let alone the possible fact she couldn't bother to tell her daughters apart if they did switch places.
Its amazing how being constantly abused is fragile masculinity. If Rhaena and her girlfriends weren't complete toxic femininity, he wouldn't have lashed out. Just like any bullying victim, they can have mental breaks after prolonged suffering.
Jaehaerys found a way to get that poison into Androw Farman's hands.

@@WorldOfWesteros the text makes it perfectly clear that Androw doesn't have the brains or the resources hatch a plan and get his hands on the Tears of Lys.

I agree, his actions were a symptom of his treatment, her overdoing it is what really caused her downfall, With Elisa, her mother, her daughter and Androw. It's interesting how she came to be like this going from being a shy child, and begging Prince Aegon to give up his right to the throne to the woman she became.
