odd question-- as a young professional Latino family is Huntersville a good area? We want to move from Long Island NY but im afraid of moving somewhere where Hispanics are not seen very often and I don't want to have no neighbor calling the cops on me lol
I've moved from South Florida which has a heavy Spanish and South American culture to CLT area which Huntersville resides in. To answer your question even though I'm Caribbean, is that you'll find it very welcoming there. NC cities are very diverse now. Furthermore you won't find the same culture experiences you'll experience in NYC region or even Miami. The transition is not difficult at all. Easy place to make home.
I live in Huntersville. The people here are pretty cool. Very safe area too with great schools available. LNC is a PHENOMENAL school. I've spoken there a few times for their career day and was constantly impressed with the students and staff. Getting in that school is highly competitive with the lottery if you're not working at that school.
I moved from Brooklyn 18 yrs ago. You will love it and be welcomed. It’s almost a mid point between uptown and the real lake area. Lots of amenities, clean, safe, friendly, affordable and good schools - even the public ones. You’ll love it and the problem you fear is not common.
It's small and growing region near the Charlotte metro. Yes white indeed but Charlotte is a black city with black influences however like so many southern cities it definitely has been washed up if you know what I mean.
It's actually pretty cool. Haven't faced any issues. I will warn though, the traffic gets pretty heavy since there's been a lot of people moving to the area.
Wow, got me wanting to move back to North Carolina, I’ve never even heard of this place❤️

it doesn’t look like an inclusive city. It looks small and white, but thank you.
