Make sure you check the ring end gap! If it's to tight it will pop!
Got one in my 2006 yz 85 runs fast a he'll can not beat the piston kit with gaskets complete top end job it's nice as can be th88ú
Wow 😮
whats nicasium,do you mean NicaSIl being nickel and silicon, and seeing almost all bikes are plated alloy cylinders now and not steel liners, whats up with the do not use in a plated pot..
Were still your new bearing don't want to use the old one you need you Wisco bearing and you will be ready too go with your top end kit is used Wisco pro lite piston kit with gaskets complete complete with bearings and every thing needed including gasket kit
So it doesn't come with the needle bearing?
I think that bearing is "part of the crank shaft" and that is why they don't include it but it can be re used and I believe it comes with most connecting rod kits
I personally wouldn't re-use it unless you're really in a pinch and plan on replacing it when you install another set of rings. When changing the pin and piston, may as well spend the 10 bucks on the bearing.
You don’t need to drill
I can tell you from personal experience if you do not drill the holes for the lubrication of the exhaust Bridge your piston will fail prematurely and possibly cause you to have to either re plate or resleeve your bike
If you don't break it in it will be broken
Athena and vertex are better.
If you have an EXHAUST BRIDGE and don't drill the holes as it says you could end up with premature piston failure from exhaust bridge expansion. Those hole lubricant the exhaust bridge and cool it. Drill them holes and save the headache down the road.
Cliff JONES you only drill exhaust bridge lubrication holes on forged 2 stroke pistons, not cast.
