I don’t understand why he didn’t add the potatoes, and the other vegetables including sprigs of rosemary, and garlic when he placed the lamb into the oven.

Cooking Temp actually 170 c
What temperature? You would think that would be mentioned but noooooo!
My guess is 325F/163C.

I add rosemary, parsley, mint and cilantro seven spice with the same ingredients and blend it into a smoothie and marinade over night, no longer.
Can I recommend microwaving the lemon first, get more juice out.
I made this over the Easter weekend. It turned out wonderfully! The lamb was so tender, it melted in the mouth. The flavour from the marinade was delicious. I used the same marinade for beef, which was also good. I'm allergic to garlic, so I replaced the garlic with onion powder. I panicked a little during the cooking process as the yoghurt in the marinade curdled & turned a horrible grey colour. But this came right during the last stage when the meat was uncovered. I think this recipe will become a family favourite! Thank you!

It was cooked for 4 hours.
It's ussualy 45min per kg.
It's about 1.6kg so he slow cooked.. So 80 decrease for 4 hours SLOW cook or 45 per kg. I'm italian we help Greeks..

2 cups Greek style natural yoghurt
4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
5 tablespoons of dried oregano
5 large cloves garlic, crushed
juice and zest of one lemon
1 tablespoon ground cumin
2 teaspoon sea salt
2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper.
2 large freezer bags

l don't think there is any need for all this fuss to cook a leg of lamb rub a little olive oil over the lamb sea salt black pepper cook on low heat for two and a half to three hours easy

He didn't say what temp. The website says 170 deg C which translates to 338 deg F. I clicked on it a few times before I could access it.
What the he'll why cut it like that if you going to slow cook it 🙄🙄
it barely served 9 of us growing up and we ate leg of mutton which was larger....

For slow cooking you need 300-325F 150-160C
His web page says 170C which is 338 F

Last year I went to a Greek festival with my husband... The ladies at church cooked this amazing lamb we been daydreaming for this Greek festival to come back in June. But I will love to learn how to cook it also this looks like a wonderf recipe. Thank you!
