My name is YashasvI.
I am student bsc in Medical technology (Operation theater And Anaesthesia Technician)
Recently i appeared in an exam..
There was a question..
PLMA - - PARTS sizes available, usese and its sterilization.. This question was of 10 marks..
On Page no 37 of Ajay yadav 6 th edition it is writen that
PERIPHARYNGEAL AIRWAY ( COBRA - PLMA) (Fig3. 16):
And bla bla..
I read it earlier and rembered that it is PLMA..

SO in my exam I wrote about Cobra PLMA..
Now I got to know that we have to write about pro seal lma..
( on page 36 pro seal lma is given.. But PLMA is not written Anywhere..)
I had lost my Marks.. I accept it was my mistake that i didnt remember about pro seal lma that it is also known as plma..
And also i trusted this book.. Blindly..
Now i wish please coorect it. Or Please mention Pro seal lma as PLMA somewhere so that we can understand easily..

Easy to insert ( even paramedical staff can insert it)......
😅😅 Personally i believe if we get chance and proper training as medical person gets we too can insert et tube.. (And may be their are paramedic who intubate patient in any part of world)
Well these WORDS are acceptlable, no problem.. ( just i get demotivated and it seems disrespectful to me as a paramedic)
Apart from this page 297 6th edition.. Same type of lines...
BLS
BLS as the name suggest can be employed with minimal or no instruments therefore is more suitable for outside Cpr PROVIDED BY LAY RESCUERS AND PARAMEDICS or as an immediate step to.. Bla bla..
Here clearly you are saying that paramedic = lay rescuers
