I purchased your plans to make two dressers for my daughters for Christmas. The first I’ve used all of the same dimensions on the plan. My second one I cut down to 40 inches, four drawers to fit her space. The plans were detailed and very good. Thank you.
I took up inspiration from your dresser build and I am in the process of building one in the same style. With a few alterations, integrated power, drawer lighting, and I changed the side panels to have a third style down the center. When I saw your video on this I loved the simplicity. A lot of the older dressers are way to ornate. My best girl loves the way it looks and wants a complete bedroom set built to match haha. Thank you for sharing your work!
Nice, might buy the plans for the daughter’s next dresser when she moved out of the nursery. Question, I checked your web page as well, couldn’t see where you mention what rail square you’re using. Looks simple and hopefully more affordable than most I’ve seen recommended!

What's the minimum table saw you would recommend for a project like this. I have a dewalt contractor table saw and I'm wondering if it will be good enough...
That was a design change I made after building the project. I figured moving to 3/4 would make the project simpler to build as doing a 5piece side panel is really unnecessary
The adjustable height one? It’s a felder FAT 300. It’s pricey but a back saver that makes working solo a lot easier. Here is the video ua-cam.com/video/A2DRfvU9aBs/v-deo.html Everything else is shop built
There is nothing about this piece that is remotely "Shaker", whether traditional or modern. Not the design, materials or workmanship. Ersatz Japanese maybe.

Great commentary! I like your practical advice
Good job, looks great
Well done, and wow someone that doesn’t use a gallon of glue pouring all over the place when building!
Simple but elegant! ( not meant easy to do it, it takes skills to do that)
Thank you very much!
Great job, but you didn't mention any top coat for the black stained portion nor the drawer fronts. is it urathane ?
Can we buy the finished product or do you only sell plans?

Half inch plywood warps way too easily

Yes a contractor saw can do this project
In vid you say you're using 1/2 ply, but the materials list says 3/4. Error?

Where did you get the base for your assembly table?

@@DaileyWoodworks I appreciate th reply!! I found this video shortly after asking the question. Thanks
Ok, I'm confused. Why the dominos ar 5.07 instead of just a tenon on the end ?
Primarily because I didn’t have the tongue and groove bit and this was faster than dialing in either a table saw set up or a router set up.
76 biscuits
👍👍👍👍
Looks like 1990s Walmart. But whatever it is, it is not Shaker.
You gotta stop running your fingers by the router bit! Matter of time man. I like the videos, but good lord, be safe.
I was going to make the same remark. One hitch up and no more fingers
Efficient
