- Last day of class 121 DMU Bubble cars 19th May 2017.
Chiltern Railways ran its 2 bubble cars units 121034 & 121020 together on the last day of operation on the line from Princes Risborough to Monks Risborough, Little Kimble and Aylesbury. A short ceremony was held at Princes Risborough station, where we see the cutting of the cake, the cake not only looked great but tasted very nice too. Well done to Chiltern Railways for making the last day a memorably one.

Hope you return to UA-cam someday, you're videos were very nice.
Remember the 121s at West Ruislip. Loved that throaty roar, pause, change gear, throttle up!
Did they get preserved?
Worked those units a time or two
Excuse my ignorance. But is Chiltern Railways just a regular operator (opposed to a heritage railway) and they had these old DMU's in daily use until last year?
I wish I knew where to find some of the old locomotives and DMUs that are still in regular use (speaking as a closet train spotter with very little spare time to indulge).
Yes Chiltern Railways is a regular train operator.
Where are the exhausts on 020?
They were re-routed up through the Guards Van. See photo in attached link. railcar.co.uk/images/11395
@@ADFProductionsUK Oh, a little bit like on a 105 although Cravens put them together on the wall between the guards van and passenger compartment. Cheers.
