Dude, that's a nice instrument right there but for $19,000 U.S. dollars, it had better come with Victor Wooten as my personal instructor. P.S. ❤ the tone! 🤟🤓
Wow! $19,000! I guess you can't hide money. If I was rich, I'd own several Fodera basses. They are magnificent. Maybe if my daughter gets a scholarship I can use her college fund to buy one. LOL!
3:49 is the best analogy I have ever heard in the bass world! I don´t know why I find it so hilarious, it just is, gets me every time😂 Tone and playing are ridiculous as usual, Mike Bendy our lord and savior🙌
@@domagojoinky8262 I’d be curious to play the 5- and 6-string MINIs in person to see how the B feels and sounds. I have basses with a 34” B-string, 35” B-string and 37” B-string and the 37” smokes the others in every regard. And they all have the same gauge of string (.130).

I’m not trying to make anyone angry here, I might even just go ahead and get one just cause I can but I am interested in what people think and if they are actually willing to pay that much and also what exactly it is about it that costs 19 grand.
Wait, an additional 7kUSD ???? Is it just cause? I was wondering why the MG mini was 12kUSD and still waiting for my answer like this is COVID times? I love Fodera but what’s these prices about Mike? I need an explanation, I will seriously buy one of these AND an mini MG if I get a decent reason for 32KUSD for two mini basses, Mike, PLEASE BRO!
Please don’t take this the wrong way, I think Fodera rules and I’m ready to get my first one made but asking about price shouldn’t be weird should it!? @@nmnmnm9509 Very true story what you just said! Even FBass play as well and are made as well and are considerably cheaper but I guess people keep paying it so that will keep them charging it I guess. @@joshuacase4927 other great Canadian brand is Dingwall. Also some European brands make great bass like Maruszczyk and Myonez and maybe the best one is Marleaux.
I hate to say but I do agree and I work on £1 million boats for a living. I understand the effort that goes into these and it's a lovely instrument but for half that you can get an MTD with all the perks. Think, if I had the money, I would rather go down that route.
19k and doesnt even come with tone knobs LOL! Short scale basses are the new thing now i got one single cut 30 inch fretless built and it kicks some serious a$$
Hahaha that’s pretty funny actually but seriously, coming from a guy that can play what mike plays, what does that have to do with the price now reals? Some of the very best players will never be able to afford and that’s a bit of a shame right!? Such beautiful art and crafted musical artistic amazingness….but only for you few that have so much money you clearly couldn’t hurt enough about the world to be a truly great musician…..kinda? I don’t know man, it’s a thing tho. And believe me, I’m getting one 100% lol
There is nothing in this instrument making it worth more than 1500-2000 dollars and then i´m just trying to be polite. Some people will just try to sell whatever bs and claim that this product is unique or far superior in some way. "Exclusive brand" ... Still a really "meh" sounding bass. No hate, just some real constructive critique.
People always on here saying this shit. You’re talking about a HANDMADE instrument to his specifications by some of the top luthiers on the planet. If it’s not your flavor, that’s cool and also DUH. It’s Mike’s bass. If you can make it work with a $500 bass and you’re happy, that’s dope. But if you want a custom, one in a life time bass made by master luthiers… you’re going to pay for it. These types of comments just make you look ignorant or like a dickhead… or both.
It does not sound that great. And it's 19000.-!!! The only guys who will be playing that bass are retired guys with a huge 401K who are in the worship team on Sundays in Idaho churches for example.( Not the real gospel churches that produce all the best players in the country) Those retired guys are probably playing stuff you could just as well play on a Sire bass. But they have the money to burn.

Great bass, but Mike Bendy’s skill as a bassist impresses me more than the basses he plays.
That tone is 100% perfection.
19kUSD perfection?
Yes, but do you feel the price is justified ?
Imagine being that good that tone was controlled by right hand position! Killer bass and playing. Love the shorter scales.

Cool bass now if only it didn't cost as much as a house
Definitely gonna have to try one when I’m in next!
Great playing Mike ...huge range too.
Great, great sound. Amazing design. Love it!
Sweet, been wanting to 3D print a ramp for a while. This legitamizes the idea.
Beautiful bass. Congratulations
Absolutely perfect.
what a beautiful instrument🔥
Thumps up for Mike Bendy and his new bass!
What a tone and even better playing!
This is beautiful! ❤️
gawd damn, the tone is insane
Nice to hear a bass sound that's more on a mellow side and not clanky/honky.
That is a dream bass
Wonderful
Love it !!!!!
it's awesome 👌🏾
Damn that is killer!!! That B tho!😳
Who says that a 37in scale is needed to have a good low B ? That 31in has it all, high C sings and low B is nice and tight.

I wish I was a millionaire.....
Anyway, let us get such a bass someday.

The reason it's so expensive is because they had to find a unicorn and make it cry to source the unicorn tears
Forgive me, but what is the purpose of the “ramp”?
Adds efficiency to playing because you can't dig into the strings as much
