I purchased my machine because of your content. I have a T650 "36". Im having issue with the print settings while trying to print a retractable banner of 33x78. Are you able to assist? TIA
This EXACTLY what I wanted to know! Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I appreciate you!♥
Love your videos. You are very good at explaining your work process!..THANK YOU! Helped me a lot with my first banner…
Thank you!
wanted to know if your prints come out shinny or matter?@@nicciclutch
Thank you
What ink do you use for this printer? You should do an essentials video for banner printing. Really enjoyed this video! 😊
Thank you! That’s a great idea! And an easy one 😂😂😂 cause I’ve bought a lot of stuff I DIDNT need
@@nicciclutch I'm in the process of printing banners in my state and I have no idea what i'm doing but this video helped me a lot. I'll stay tuned for the essentials video!
Tfs❤
I really this and thanks for making a video.
Thanks for watching! I’ll be posting the X banner video this week.
What area of printing are you in and what kind of videos would you like to see?
Hello! I’m thinking about getting this printer! I’m torn between this one and the epson sure color T5170. Please tell me what made the go with this one. I want to make grave blankets, Retractable banners and large characters for kids birthday parties.
I went with the hp because of the price first and foremost.
You can do all of the above with the HP just keep in mind for the grave blankets you’ll been a laminator as this will be an outdoor display.
My biggest seller is retractable banners and I have seen a roi x100 on the printer using it mostly for this purpose. My only feedback when looking for a printer is… decide if outdoor prints will be your largest market… if so, I vest in a laminator or UV printer. Otherwise most printing for in door and promotion I can do from my printer locally including banners floor wraps and characters.
@@nicciclutch am I able to use a cold laminator. I seen one on Amazon for about $400.
@@nicciclutch the 39 inch is $179 and 51 inch is $328
hello. I'm from chile. Do your printer inks run out quickly? since I have seen that they only come with 29 ml
Hello, what software do yuh use to print from?
What do you charge for the banner and stand? Do you do wedding banners?
Hi i just messaged you on fb. Do you spray anything on your banners i tried the liquid lamination i dont like it
Is the color supposed to be so dull in color??
This particular piece had a matte look. Most other prints come out with very bright colors
How the hell do i get it to print to full size? Everything wants to print at 8.5x11. I did it a few months ago and cant figure it out. Need it for a show im going to in an hour! Lol. Helplpo!!
Sorry I’m late. But you have to choose scroll down to “custom print sizes” and enter in your dimensions
Sounds like you are using a Mac, but I wanted to ask what software you are using to create the banners? Or is that your clients’ responsibility? I got the smaller HP, only 24” wide. I am using it mainly for posters for our Boy Scouts, but am also thinking of banners such as this.
Yes I use a Mac. And I use Canva and photoshop usually if I’m designing
CAN YOU PRINT ON VINYL? like sticky vinyl to make labels and shirts. Please let me know I've been looking for sooo long for someone to do a review on this printer, btw, i LOVE your videos!!!
Thank you! And yes, tho I’ve never used it, they sell rolls of printable Heat transfer paper for shirts. (It’s more cost effective to just buy A3 sheets than the roll btw)
And yes you can print stickers… but they won’t be diecut… that’s a way more expensive machine. Lol however if you need a really big square sticker or simple shape… you can cut it by hand.
This is the T-shirt paper I use. amzn.to/3YnXQxb.
@@nicciclutch That is perfect! btw, I was hoping to buy it in rolls for the main purpose of doing large format printing on the same printer you have. I am very impressed with the quality of work you put out and was wondering where I could get these rolls of vinyl to print on. Any idea?
Again you are amazing in your response time and production, truly inspirational!
@@ahmediqbal2810 it doesn’t look like Amazon Carrie’s the product anymore. I tried to
Find it for you.
@@nicciclutch Its ok, i will figure something out, 1 more question, is there software that tells me how much ink the printer uses and the cost per print? BTW, I bought the printer! a good investment, and its all thanks to you, Thank you so much for everything!
Can you recommend a paper for the t630 that would be waterproof for outdoor yard signs?
Unfortunately because HP uses Waterbase ink there is nothing. You’ll need tominvest in a laminator or upgrade to a laser printer
I bought the 24in printer and I was curious to how much ink this banner took?
You can run about 2.5 banners full color through before you need to even change 1 cartridge. Mind you they all vary on how much of each color you’re using. On average, you can get 3 banners per $100 in ink you use. That’s a $450 take home.
❤Fire!!! Thanks for sharing!!!
Thank you!
you help me dear ,Thank you ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
What kind of ink you use? Is this printer for latex
How do you have such small margins I have huge margins on all sides
My printer is only 36 inches the print was 33inches
Hello I’ve been researching large printers and this is very informative
Can you tell me how much you normally spend on ink? I’ve been reading it DRINKS ink fast - is this true in your case?
It does drink ink… but it pays for itself. 1 print will make you $100-$180 on a set of cartridges that cost $130. You can print between 3-8 full color images based on size.
I average $200 worth of ink a month. But I make about 10-15 large prints a month right now
great video good job
Thank you.
thanks for showing this!
You’re welcome! I’ll be posting an X banner video this week…
Hey Nicci, i've been trying to print 8 ft, but i have no luck , ive been trying for 1 week and googled everything, is there a way this printer can do it, what driver are you using?, please advise you amazing person! please help me :)! is this printer limited to printing only 6 ft?
Ive printed 30 plus feet before.
I’m not using any drives. You have to adjust the custom print size to 96 inches length and
@@nicciclutch so I have made a custom size, 36x96 inches. But everytime I print through pdf, it shows a blank sheet, and prints out blank sheet, an HP representative told me it can only print upto 60 inches, may I ask, if its not to much trouble, what driver your using or how you did it?
@@ahmediqbal2810 I’m literally not using a driver. And I’ve printed well over 60 inches. I did 15 foot sticker in one print.
Thanks for sharing ❤
I love it 🎉
Thank you
how often do you replace ink?
Whenever it’s empty… lol I’m not trying to sound like a smart sss…. But I have days where I change the cartridge daily… but they make me a lot of money. So don’t be scared of ink cost. Just buy the 3 packs
About to order me one so I appreciate this video.
My pleasure
@@nicciclutch is yours a 32 or a 24inch? If yours is a 32inch can I still do backdrops with a 24"
@@Thejknvyway it’s 32 and you can if you use the Tiles method or print banners 24 inches and smaller.
They make 24 inch retractable banner stands so it is an option, but not going to generate as much money in the long hall
@@nicciclutch ok nice, now you know what I'm going to ask right? Lol can you show me the tiles method? 🙏🏾
@@nicciclutch ty for being so responsive. Love it.
What kinda ink do you use for the banner printer ?
I use HP ink that the machine calls for. 3rd party ink is more wasteful and usually requires software not compatible with 💻 Mac
Why does the print come out so dull?
Part of it is the design. (Dark browns and I used a dark underlay in the design and lowered the transparency)
Other reason is because the printer doesn’t have a laminator like if you’re ordering from a vendor…. The bright prints come up beautifully! They don’t look “dull” so to speak they just don’t look gloss.
If you look through my IG, you’ll see that the color ones looks very bright and vibrant
How do I protect it against rain ?
This is not recommended for outdoor use. It would blow right over.
Girl I like you. Straight to it 💪🏾
Thank you!
Did the printer cut the vinyl with its cutter or did you cut it ?
I cut it.
It just trimmed it
This is cool!
Thank you…
Hello, where do you typically get your vinyl from?
We have a local US Cutter here in Memphis… but otherwise, I’ve ordered from Fast Plot the most.
I prefer the 8 oz vinyl to the 10 or 14 oz because it’s thinner and rolls better into the unit.
@@nicciclutch thank you is that one you tagged in your other video I think on Amazon it says 8 mil 2 inch core?
@@jessicaanderson3067 yes… that’s the fast plot
What setting is your printer on

Hey. Love the video. Did you use the hp 712 ink also ?
Yes. I don’t use generics in my HP but I do in my epson printers lol
@@nicciclutch me too☺️
Yeah it’s way more cost effective for cheaper print jobs… but on Banners you need OG ink. Are you using a T-630?
@@nicciclutch no I don’t have one. I’ve been doing research on how to do banners and what all equipment and supplies I’ll need. And I came across your videos which is very informative. Right now I do sublimation. I have a epson 7210 and T7270(44in) that converted.
@@keishafarmer1454 that’s what’s up! I have the 7210 also… and my everyday printer which is also an epson. I’m happy to help you with tips and inquiries. Just shoot me a message directly. Nwellsgroupllc@gmail.com
Hi Nicci! I really want to say thank you for putting this video up. I recently got a t730 FOR FREE!!!! I had to replace the print head but now it is printing like a champ, and i ordered the cheaper unit from japan and it came in 5 days. Ive been searching for ways to start utilizing my printer to start a little side hustle because i know the demand is out there! Thanks again =)
Thank you for the kind words! And congratulations! I’ll be putting more content out soon!
@@nicciclutch hi do you spray anything on your banners to seal it?
Your printed says it’s a thermal inkjet and not just an inkjet… have you ever had problems printing any colours? I was looking into the T210 which is the 24” to yours basically.
Thank you in advance 🙏🏽
As long as I use HP genuine ink I don’t have any color issues.
@@nicciclutch okay thank you so much. I ordered the T210 after watching your videos. I was so scared 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
@@shantellarojai you won’t have as many options in the 24 inch… but you still have a high yield earning potential!
Xbanners, posters, custom canvases, and so much more. You’ll eventually want to go bigger… I’m currently looking at 60 inches 😫
