What’s quite interesting about this song was… it wasn’t originally a Sabaton one.
It’s actually a Radio Tapok (think that’s how it’s spelt) who is a major fan of their in Russia and would constantly cover their songs in Russian.
As such as a bit of a honour to him they covered one of his song. This one.

The funniest thing is that when Radio Tapok uploaded his song The Battle for Moscow in the style of Sabaton to UA-cam, in the comments to the clip, people joked that the Sabatons needed to make their own version of the song, almost a year later the joke became a reality and acquired the name Defense Of Moscow
Guys this song not about the war but about self-sacrifice, more than 22 million Russians died in the war. You can't even imagine what it was like. Thanks to the Sabaton group for understanding the essence of what was happening. In Russia, we honor the patriots of the warriors who died not only for Moscow, but the memory of all those who died in this terrible war, but reached Berlin and defeated this Nazi scum.
Fun fact: Tommy incorporated the Russian national anthem in his solo.
