Dividing Perennials In My Walkway Garden Border

- Today I take on the challenge of dividing perennials from my walkway garden border. Not only does dividing plants give you free plants to spread throughout your garden but it also reinvigorates the plants for a more healthy, robust and floriferous garden. Of course I have obstacles and dilemmas along the way but I manage to get the job done.
In this video I mention Jes and her channel linked below:)

That's great that you are dividing your perennials, Carol! They will look so pretty in their new spots next year! 😊💖
Vita, Thank YOU for always being so supportive of my channel and I learned from the best:)
I'm so glad I found your channel! I watch Jes too. You talk to us while you garden. I LOVE that and I learn a lot. Thank you for sharing your garden chores with us!
Yes, I tend to babble ☺️. Thank you so much for watching and commenting.
I’m exhausted watching you. Can’t wait to see how it will look next spring.
It took me about 5 hours but it needed to be done:)
I follow Jes too and she has amazing gardens and is total sweetness
Yes she is an amazing home gardener, keeps it real and she's so sweet. Thank you for watching:)
You really cleaned that garden nicely. Good job! Now I have to get off my butt and get some things done! 😂
It was hard to get going but it was well worth it. Trust me there are other projects I need to get done that I am procrastinating about :)
@@capecodcottagegarden we all have a list a mile long I get it!
Well, I would love to see your reno! Please share! I can't believe your hubby chopped your roses. I have been babying a David Austen myself and I can't even imagine. P.S. you remind me of my MOM when you say Sugar instead of the other word :)
Oh believe me I say the other words sometimes LOL. I think I will take a video of the cottage before the reno so I can do like a before and after video. I think the reno is supposed to take like 8 months or so. I am really anxious for them to start because its only 4 ish months until I have to start my seeds! Its going to be in 2 phases and the first phase will be very difficult to live here since its the main living area/kitchen so I'll see how it goes.
@@capecodcottagegarden I just looked and it's on prime day sale for $50................!!
You made me do it!!! I bought one on a whim. Hope I picked a decent one:)
@@capecodcottagegarden You got it!!! I seriously almost did. I did get a bunch of other Amazon stuff on that day though. they had some good deals!
I was just thinking to myself as I was cutting back that I would really like a small chainsaw. LOL. I will have to look her up. It would make it sooo much easier!!!
I linked her channel in the description above. She's a sweetheart:)
