Pt 9. We love finding those epic landscapes that give us an excuse to get our cameras out. Also, there are definitely times that we want to just be tourists and enjoy the ambience of a place; we're so glad we stopped here.
Hi Kieran. Thank you. It would seem that the whole of the UK and Ireland is a little wet and dreary lol. Hurry up the summer🌞. Hope you're well and many thanks for watching as always👍💙❤️🇮🇪🚐
Lovely Wheal Coates , all very ( Poldark ) obviously a photographer,s paradise. Brownie points gained for brewing the tea 🤣. I have always loved the north coast more than the south. Superb video again, thanks for sharing, take care 🚐👍
Hi Eric, hope you're well. Indeed, very Poldark! A lovely place to take landscape photos and like you say, the North Coast is a little better than the south👍. As always, thank you and take care.
Hi there and many thanks for watching and for taking the time to leave the kind comment, it's very much appreciated. Take care and all the best, Tony and Claire. 👍💙❤️🚐
Fantastic to see Wheal Coates and Chapel Porth like this. I walked along the coastal path there in 2018 in fog and high tide. Quite intriguing and interesting and a bit moody. But this is real beauty 🥰 St. Ives is always a treat in any season 🥰
Hi there. Many thanks for watching and for taking the time to leave the comment. Yes, Wheal Coates was a great place and the surrounding landscapes are beautiful. Wow, fog and a high tide would have been great to photograph, not too sure about walking in it though🤔, Claire would be the first to admit that she can be a little clumsy🤣😂. Yes, we were so pleased that we visited St Ives, it had such a great vibe and has retained much of its charm. Many thanks again and all the very best, take care. 👍💙❤️🚐
@@adventurevanfreddie thank you for your kind answer. I must say that we if course didn't walk into the high tide 🤣 But the sandy beah below the cliffs were submerged and I actually didn't know there was a beach until long time after when I saw other pictures from the area. But the weather was a bit foggy / misty and it actually gave a sort of a historic and authentic feel 😊 And the path was perfectly visible. I have been to St. Ives several times and also this January. It was almost empty and the winter light was great. I loved it. The only downside was that it got dark at around 5 PM so the days were a bit short for exploring.
@@TravellingTorunn haha, my bad use of language, I meant Claire walking in the fog lol😂🤣, not into the high tide🤣. Sounds like it was still a lovely scene and yes, fog and mist definitely add another element to a landscape👍. Ahh, nice and quiet and under a winter sky...sounds great, St Ives is beautiful. Many thanks again. All the best. 👍💙❤️🚐
Weren’t you lucky with the weather at Wheal Coates. The sea looked Mediterranean, pity the temp would have been very cold. Very atmospheric photography and music. Takes some beating. You were right Claire , despite the tourists St Ives retains its character and individuality . How is it you both look as if you’d been abroad. Great work guys 👍Al
Hi there Al, hope you're well and many thanks for watching. Yep, incredible weather for late autumn. We did have a few cold days but in all, great weather and like you say, perfect for photography.. Haha, yep, we had a great summer and managed to absorb a lot of sunshine. Many thanks as always for watching and for your continued support Al. Take care and all the best. Tony and Claire👍💙❤️🚐🌞
Hey up Brendan, hope you're well. Wow, thank you. To follow the 'Master' in your evenings entertainment schedule is an amazing compliment...thank you! Have a great week and all the very best. Tony and Claire. 👍💙❤️🚐
Looks like the old engine house has had a bit of work done. Behave Tony haha I'm on about the long pointy thing the chimney hahaha 😆 Looks like you definitely had some good weather down there, chance of a sunrise and sunset. I hear you can parkup for free at Hayle Beach near St Ives. Fabulous video Both. Wonderful Adventures. Love and Hugs ❤️
Haha🤣😂, thought you were talking about me for a minute; I was wondering, how do you know I've had work done on my long pointy thing🤔😂🤣😅. Yes, we had great weather to be fair, although it must be said, when it did rain, we didn't leave the van lol....whimps! Ahh, we didn't know about the Hayle Beach, thanks for letting us know. Many thanks again for your support and kind messages, it's very much appreciated. 👍❤️💙 Love and hugs back at ya!! 👌
Nice video guys, what a place, fabulous! Really hoped with Tony’s camera skills he was gonna put the drone through the window by the chimney but he bottled it😂
Haha, hi Nick. Yes, very tempting to fly through the window, however, I tried something similar a few years back with my 1st drone.....and I no longer have my 1st drone lol, it landed of on its own accord in a number of bits😂🤣 after making some interesting marks on the inside of a bridge🤔😂. Thanks for watching and all the best.
Thank you both and we hope this find you well. Incredibly kind of you and we're glad that you enjoyed it. Take care Rob and Jane and all the best. Tony and Claire. 👍💙❤️🚐
Hi there and many thanks for watching. Thank you, you live in a beautiful part of the world and we really enjoyed our time exploring here. Take care and all the best, Tony and Claire.
Hi guys. Fantastic scenery around the old engine house, bet you got to take some good pictures. Looked like a decent park up aswel. Looking forward to the next vid. Take care guys.
Hi there Geoff, hope you're well. Yes, the old engine house was great and we ended up staying there for quite some time taking pictures, lovely landscape. We'll show a few of our pictures at the end of the series. Many thanks for watching and for taking the time to leave the comment as always. Take care and all the best.
Hi guys was this area used in the filming of poldark🤔🤔. Well done making the tea glad to see you share the tea making 👌. I usually watch your vlog on a Sunday but I was away in Edinburgh watching the rugby. Was great fun never been before. You guys have lovely weather again. It’s still very cold on Skye still some snow 😮. You looked like you were enjoying your trip. Take care and keep safe. As always good music 👌♥️
Hi there Liz and welcome back from stunning Edinburgh...and the rugby; it sounds like you enjoyed the whole experience, well done👍💪. Yes, this area was used to film Poldark, well spotted👍. Yes, great weather for the time of year although it did get a little windy at times. We must come to Skye during the heavy weather and snow, its on our photography bucket list❤️🏴. Hi Chris, many thanks for watching and for taking the time to leave the comment. Yes, indeed, we have used Turned to Stone on a few of our vids and like you say, great voice. FYI, the artist is called Pink Persona. ua-cam.com/video/piaWyx-OyjY/v-deo.html Take care and many thanks again.
This is another great video guy's, this makes me so proud to be Cornish, so much to see and do here, one of my favourite places to work in the fields was Tregirls beach at Padstow, every day the weather was slightly different and the camal estuary looked slightly different, just absolutely magical, love Cornwall so much and pray it stays the way it is, it's changed too much already but that's another story, can't wait to finish my traffic conversion to get out and about
Indeed our friend, you have every right to be proud of Cornwall, it's very much a beautiful place and we truly enjoyed our time exploring and taking photographs. Yes, we can imagine how much the landscapes change over time, we certainly witnessed this sitting on the cliffs for a day. Yes, hopefully everything will remain as beautiful as it is. Yes, we know exactly how you feel, we remember our excitement with our first van and Freddie to be fair. Good times ahead our friend...good times indeed! Take care and all the best, Tony and Claire.
Nice wee place st . Ives , I visited it and Carbis bay which was nice too about 15 years ago when I was at lands end for a 5 day break 😊 . Hey guys really enjoying the Cornwall series 👍🏻 Been a couple of times on photography trips and enjoyed a wonderful sunset at Bedruthan Steps. I parked at Chapel Porth and walked up to Wheal Coates from the other side but from memory getting the van down there may be tricky !! But it did mean I could bathe in the sea and the beach below the mines was beautiful. I’ll await the next episode and guessing you’re off to Lands End next but Botallack tin mines (just below where you stayed at Pendeen) are a must for the camera ( I’ll see next week if you stopped off there) long time no comment but been watching all your travels and our Adria van is due June / July so getting close now !! All the best and take care . Andrew
Hi there Andrew, how's things going our friend👍? Ahhh, you know the area well then. A little too cold for us to go for a paddle, although we nearly did when we had the freakishly hot autumn weather.
