The album has only three songs that are group numbers (the title track "Walkin' On Water", "Bounce Back", and "U" featuring Tablo). Then there are eight solo tracks, one for each member. There are also multiple versions of the title track. They released the MVs one at a time starting with the maknae, I.N, and working their way up by age. Tomorrow they will release the final solo track which is Bang Chan's "Railway". It is highly anticipated. Felix's "Unfair" is based on Beauty and the Beast but instead of a happy ending he just rips our hearts out. Kills me every time. Han's "Hold My Hand" is... It's Han. It's just like his essence poured into a song. It has direct ties to his earlier piece, "Alien", which makes it even more special and gives it deeper meaning. All of the members were able to directly reflect their own colors and energy in their solo pieces. If you want more of a background on the album itself and the reasons they approached it this way there's an amazing video they released on their UA-cam that's the "HOP" album intro. It's just about 30 minutes long but it's really insightful and all of their members share their thoughts. Definitely check out Changbin's "ULTRA", I'N's "Hallucination", and Hyunjin's "So Good"! All of the solo tracks are amazing and yes, you ALWAYS have to mentally prepare for SKZ!
They actually have made a lot of solo songs, but this is the first time they have MVs to go with them as well as performing them on their most recent/ongoing tour! The solo MVs were released in the members' age order (youngest to oldest), I would recommend going back and watching I.N and Seungmin's, followed by Hyunjin, Changbin, and Lee Know. Last is Bangchan still to be released. There is a huge variety in sound and concept across the solos, and they help show more of what each of member is like as an individual 😊
These are their solo's they are performing for their DominAte World tour concert. You should definitely check out I.N.'s Hallucination and Changbin Ultra. This whole album is a No Skip fire album 🤯. Love your reactions 😅😂❤
You should definatly check out all their solos. They all bring amazing energy and fit each member perfectly bang Chan's is the last out to be released on the 26th
Felix is such a vibe. Dude's a whole a$$ choir. A masterpiece from start to finish 🩵👑🐣🐱
