I do like waking up on a Sunday morning and finding a new Imperfect Art video to watch while eating my breakfast! A very uplifting way to start the day! Thank you for your channel, Albert!
The black sculpture tower is nice. I like Richard Serra's work too, which is what you were reminding me of before you you went on to show his sculpture. Interesting expercise.
Thanks, Culture Fan. It was also fun to play like this.. 3D sculture like this is a nice way to add to making. You really have to start thinking in different shapes. Albert
Greetings, Albert. Since this video's release I have been doing a LOT of circles, experimenting with different paints, surfaces, and tools to varying results. I found it to be a great warm-up exercise or something to do when I'm feeling creative but uninspired. Your channel is always a source of inspiration, but this particular video seemed to really spark something within me. Thank you!
Good afternoon Albert. I loved the small assemblage you made with the the part circles, it's simple and wonderful. When you said, "Would it spoil the fun of getting lost?" My mind had a moment of panic. I know that mazes are popular, however, I don't understand why. Getting lost, is one of my, what shall I say, major dreads, fears? To me, it's like being out of control of yourself. But "fun in getting lost?" I'd rather stab my leg with a rusty fork. It was an interesting video none-the-less. A lot of options were opening in my mind as I watched it. Thank you.
Thanks, Gordon. I understand your reaction completely. I don't like mazes, I prefer a labyrinth. I walked around in a Richard Serra artwork and knew it was an in and out walk, but it took me 50 seconds and was happy to be out. But in a controlled situation like that, it was interesting to experience and play with my emotions. I don't like 'escape rooms' either where you need to solve riddles and puzzles. But I do know a lot of people do like them. So, in my videos, I switch to suggesting the happy experiences of all. More fun to relate to, I guess. It was fun playing like this. 3D, just some cut-up tape rolls, really brings something extra to the art game. Have a good day. Albert
Thanks, Urbangardener. Indeed, it looks more subyle in a way. It's also a mirrored version, left is right, what messes me up in a way. Also fun. Albert
I just finished a painting with circles, but it is lacking! Then I saw your example. . .I'm keen to go back and make some changes now - hahaha. Thank you Albert.

Great exercise ... did one on a segment in one of the pages in a concentina "handmade square folded style" (was fun to make)... doodled some lines that overran and used 3 colors with the composition dominate element on the right, stillness, 😊and comfort not convoluted. Also started textile arting, o what fun. Beads R the circle action in some. Cubism is an awesome way 2 C forms...just sayin'. Ann
Thanks, Ann. Thanks for sharing. Folded squares are fun as well. Actually, take 1 shape and take it one step further, and so on. It's always amazing where you end up. Creativity is fun. Albert
Thanks, Ann. Get it. It must be heaven to walk around in a conservatory like that. I loved to visit the hortus botanicus in the center of the city when i studied in Amsterdam. A nice and quiet zone in all the hectic around it. Albert

How great Albert! Circles are organically simply yet fabulous with all that can be manifested from them. Loved the sculpture!
Thanks, Yole. Circles are endless in so many ways. 3D gives even more options. Enjoy making more art. Albert
I like the print, suddenly there are circles in the foreground and in the background, mystery has creeped in. It's like an echo.
Thanks, Urbangardener. Indeed, it looks more subyle in a way. It's also a mirrored version, left is right, what messes me up in a way. Also fun. Albert
Thank you so much Albert, your video is so fresh and inspiring ! Have a good day 😀🤩
Thanks, Daniela. Happy painting, Albert

Thanks again Albert. How did you know I was struggling with taking more risks in my painting!?!?!
Haha, thanks, Pat. A lot of people do, I as well. They find their way to this channel. A circle of friendly people. Albert
I found the artist Do Ho Suh yesterday and I recommend him.
Thanks, Leena.. Briljant artist, Do Ho Suh, although I’m still pondering how to translate it into a painting. Any idea? Albert
