I wrote a letter to him last spring with a return address and not realizing my phone number. One evening I received a call from him. Kinda freaked me out, but we talked for about 45 minutes, he even chatted with my son. I told him then that his dad was my childhood hero and he was also. He told me things that wasn’t general knowledge and also sent me a personal picture in a text. He was a very nice guy and he IS the best at his profession…….period!!! Rest in peace my friend, you will be missed!
Awesome story.
That showed Robbie had class. He also jumped from one high rise building to another. Damm, his bike bounced hard when he landed. Great suspension, something his dad with those Harleys did not have.
@James Horan His Dad was half insane half pure cold nerves. His choice of jumping
Bike ridiculous. Harley wasn't ment to fly through the air. Just across finish lines.
👍
He sounded like a top guy.
Not many families out there have a set of balls like the Knievel family. He made dad proud and is with his loved ones again. RIP Mr Bad Ass. 🤙
Pancreatic cancer is a painful way to go. Rest In Peace now Robbie.
My father died of pancreatic cancer in December. May Robbie Rest In Peace with Jesus.
Sorry for your loss 🕊️
Amen! Peace and Blessings to you and yours and to all of us here… we’re a big family!
He's chilling with the old man now .....rest in peace
I hope that He accepted Jesus into His heart and soul before He died.
Well said!
I hope that He asked Jesus into His ❤️
His dad my hero
True
Robbie was a cool ass dude. Used to hang out with him at a pizza parlor in Reno NV. Talked about bikes and his life. Good memories. RIP Buddy
I saw Robbie jump in Portland Oregon in the '80's. I got to watch him prepare for his jump several days in advance by starting out with short jumps, then moving the ramps farther and farther apart. I thought it was really smart. The day he did the jump, he did several test starts getting the bike, a Honda CR500 motocross bike, up to speed and then veering from the ramp at the last second. When he was ready, we all knew he was going to jump because he sat there for a while, blipping the throttle, staring down the ramp. We were at a road race track and he was set up on the front straight part of the track. With his back tire touching a wall behind him, he launched the bike and went through the gears like a drag racer. He hit the ramp at approx. 80 MPH, and was airborne. Then, he took his hands off the handlebars and raised them up. He grabbed the handlebars and stuck the landing, feathers flying in the wind from around his neck. I'll never forget it.
great story man!!
I was there to witness that ride too , never forget it. Rest in peace Robbie 😢
RIP Robbie Knievel Thanks for continuing your dad's legendary entertainment for us to enjoy there will never be any others.
Both Rob and his father displayed respect and dignity in their public persona. Values this country represented in the past.
He was THE BEST! I'm going to miss you Robbie. Rest in Peace brother.
Sadly he was Not the Best, Eddie Kidd kicked his butt ....... FACT!!
Only by 6 feet lame😂😂😂
@@allenmaliniemi7291 it proved my point that he was NOT the Best, the Kidd was better!

A legendary motorcyclist. My condolences to his family. Rest in peace Robbie Knievel.❤🙏🏍
His pop was my childhood super hero, Sad the Knieval Era is over but glad I was alive to witness it 😔
I really admire how much courage it took for him to do the Caesar's Palace jump at a young age.
Same age as me. I beat stage 4 TONSIL CANCER with Moffitt cancer. I met his dad and he love Robbie. PIP BROTHER, YOU MADE A MARINE CRY, DANG IT. NEAL
I remembered watching his dad when I growing up back when clean tv shows were normal. RIP
Hearing this after Block died is hard to get, RIP Robbie your jumping clouds with your Pops now!
My Condolences To Family And Friends🙏
He extended his father's legacy he was every bit as good or even better than his dad and accomplished some feats his dad failed at he was an amazing stuntman . Condolences to his family
It’s impossible to compare him and his father’s careers due to the technology of the bikes that they used. Of course he jumped farther and more successfully than his dad,Evel was jumping Triumph’s and Harley’s. Who knows how well he would have done on modern bikes.
First Evel Knievel, now his son, Robbie Knievel.
RIP Robbie your legacy will live on you will truly be missed 🙏🏽❤.
Lisa Marie, Robbie and Jeff Beck in a couple of days, being 60 is starting to scare me.
And ken block. He died in his late 50's too!

I remember that couple of his motorcycle stunts were broadcasted on national tv (FOX) in the late 1990's. One of them includes jumping his bike from a building to another. He deserves utmost respect. R.I.P. ❤

Hes the son of Evel knievel and is the fore father of modern x games you know inspired guys like travis pastrana that's why his name and legacy will never be forgotten
@@Snickles4500 there are people who have actually mattered to the world who are already forgotten. This dude that you already feel you have to explain who he is and exaggerate who he is and what he has done is already forgotten. That's not even taking into account what a terrible human he is. Lol dude is a bum
RIP Robbie! Thank you for so many years of bone chilling excitement Robbie. I remember watching your father when a kid. I pray you both be together now in Heaven. You both are the absolute best motorcycle dare devils to this date!
If you watch Kaplan American he actually has Robbie's cr500 on is channel he did a tribute ride last night. r.i.p Robbie Knievel
Shameless plug for the Museum. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

None better than him...... well apart from Eddie Kidd who kicked his butt in the jump off they had !!!
@@billywhizz605 You must not realize what a fool you look like. You're just another Stewart Pedisol, Stu for short. That probably went right over your head but, for those that it didn't, you know what I mean. 🤔
Rest In Peace brother. You were a diamond in the rough Godspeed Robbie.
My deepest sympathy to the family and friends
There aren't anymore of these guys around ...his dad I loved...had that wide up toy back in the 70s...love it...R.I.P

RIP Robbie 😢
Every day there's a new celebrity that's died and 60 isn't really that old. His life cut short because of cancer. When are we going to find a cure for all forms of cancer? My prayers for healing go out to his family and friends. 🙏❤️
cancer is going to get far far worse, its in the food
There is a cure for cancer but it'll never ever be released
Amen. Peace and Blessings…
There’s no money in the cure.
@@jimmycoleman5853 Exactly 👍
He Broke All Of His Father's Records. He Will Surely Be Missed...😓
Robbie Knievel was the best. The Grand Canyon do or die jump is still the best jump ever. I got his autograph at a jump.
Robbie is a Legand!!The Best Stuntman Ever! Thanks for All the great Jumps! Lucky Landings Bro!🗽🤙
RIP ROBBIE ! I thank you and Your Dad heartfelt memories! Priceless May you truly fly now ! With Dad🙏🙏🙏

Seen him jump at the Thunder Baseball Stadium in Lake Elsinore California and that memory hits me every time I visit Elsinore.
May he rest in peace
Rest in peace you were great and made your mark on the wall of fame along with your dad one last leep of faith.
R🕊️P Mr. Knievel🌹
Awww, may he be soaring in the skies again healthy.
I'm a year late. Didn't know Robbie Knievel passed away. I just watched the documentary 'Being Evel'. RIP 🏍
RIP Robbie. Thanks for the thrills.
He was about age, but our lives were very different. Both he and his father made all of their jumps, and I don't think I could ever do anything like that. It is tragic that he passed at all at such a young age, having survived so many dangerous jumps.
Rest in Peace You be remembered and miss 🙏 💔
He was really awesome. RIP Robbie
