I've had the P10Q in my Superchamp XD for a decade now. Also built a solid pine combo cab for it and doubled the size of the output transformer. If I recall it's a t121 OT. It's a great haul around 3 tube fender clean 19:27 jam amp.
I really liked the P12N and the C12Q (I have one in my '65 DRRi). Also the 10's were nice, especially the C, but the P12K and the C12N weren't my cup of tea with this setup.
My 2 cents as a studio guy who made a lot of research about this: The C12Q is the way to go for the Fender Sound. But not with a Gibson. For a Gibson Rock Guitar Sound the Vintage 30 Greenbacks are the way to go. Vox is another story... those blue bulldogs with a handwired vox ac15.
Well done but why choosing a solid state overdrive ? All these speakers would sound better still with tube overdrive , IMHO. For more than 20 years I have been making various DIY amps from 5 to 50 watts and I strictly never use my Tubescreamer.
Hello there, thanks for your comment, yes you are right but the Luna stone is a special sweet overdrive round's works well with the amp. But you are right the best overdrive is from the power stage tubes and preamp tubes.
@@raulgrangeiro yes it will sound good, specialy for the classic rock and clean Tones, i also like the C10Q better than the P10Q. Thanks for the comment.
I don't find a single piece of info about the p12K on line, other than your video. Is it somethign that was discontinued? A possible typo? I liked how it sounded! Cheers!
Best video of Jensen speakers I've seen, thanks!
Thanks I really appreciate your comment. Rock on!
great demo, well done. And no talking, even better
thanks for the comment, Rock On!!
Great demo! Nice to hear overdriven examples!
Thanks, for the comment, yeah the overdriven tones are where the Jensen's really shine.

Hello PK, yes it all depends on what kind of sound you are looking for.
Tanks for the comment
Are these actual Loudspeaker sounds or Impulse Responces?
Hi Esa, The C10Q is the internal amp Speaker Miked, all the other are inpulse responses, thanks!

What’s you favorite?
Hi Raul i lke the P12K for more modern Sounds and the C12Q C12N for clean and vintage tones. Thanks!
@@thepeanuts5132 interesting choices. Liked the C12N too. I'm buying a C10Q to put in a Frontman 25R. Do you think it's gonna sound good or too harsh?

Hi Julio I believe now it's labeled as Jensen Falco, thanks for the comment.
Not possible all jensen starting with P in model number are alnico. The falcon is a ceramic.
@@aaronatwood9298 Forget it. He don't know what are talking about...
Sweetwater has the C12K but the P series only in P12R or P12Q
The P12K by a mile
Yes a great choice!
Thanks for the comment
It doesn't even exist, he probably meant the P12Q because the others are accounted for.
No such thing as a Jensen P12K 🤔
It's what it's labelled on the speaker, I hope it is....
@@thepeanuts5132 You sure it's not P12Q ?
