Xiaomi BE3600 REVIEW: I Don't Believe It's a Wi-Fi 7 Router!

- Xiaomi BE3600 is the cheapest Wi-Fi 7 router at the beginning of 2024, but I have big doubts that this is a real Wi-Fi 7 router because of its specifications. We will compare Xiaomi BE3600 with the Xiaomi AX1800 Wi-Fi 6 router and also test their Wi-Fi coverage and speed.

How does it compare to the xiaomi ax6s? i'm planning to upgrade my router, and i don't know which one to pick
Its has an "bridge mode" to connection of internet? Or just fixed/dynamic ip?
Can it be added to an existing mesh network created with Huawei Ax3?
Does it work with Power over ethernet?
Does this device have feature to set a data cap limit every month per device? Example: I want my sister mobile to only have a 100Gb download and if she consumes it she will no longer be abl e to connect the internet.
I like that the router can be controlled from smartphone
Yes, the mobile app is very convenient.
I have two Xiaomi routers AX6000 (main) and AX1800 (satellite) working on mesh mode with ethernet backhaul. I was planning to buy another AX1800 but I think I’m buying this one to expand my mesh network 🤔 and update to WiFi 7 in a certain zone.
I think that would be a good solution.
Bearing in mind that One of the advantages of using Wifi 7 is Its bandwich reaching Up to 320hz (wifi 6e)
Why you did not select 320hz band bandwich???
You used 160/80/40/20 bandwich (for wifi 5g)
This results weird to me
y dont u usded wifi7 phone for the tests?
if u want to show us the real speed of this router u have to use opentest on a pc that conect via cable and then use a device that support wifi7 like galaxy S24 Ultra or oneplus12
I agree, I think he should use a smartphone with Wifi7 module to have the same protocol with the Wifi7 Access Point. (look like he use an old phone, no punch hole cam & curved/amoled touch screen).
Or he can use PC / Laptop with Wifi7 Adapter for connecting to Wifi7 Access Point
I was using an iPhone 12 with Wi-Fi 6 support. Unfortunately, I don't have a device with Wi-Fi 7 right now.
@@TechBrothersReviews that not all my friend.
You need to run a local speed test that does not depend on the isp or ookla servers.
And get a wifi7 pc chip(intel Be200) . They are only 15-25usd.
Runnig ookla speed test with old phone is not show what we need to see
I would like to first apologize for not being used to using English as I am a foreigner.
Can you measure the speed if you connect a wifi 6 device to a wifi 7 router? For example, the be3600 router has the same speed as the ax3000 router?
I searched a lot for information, but couldn't find it. Generally, people use wifi7 and wifi6 products together.
In this video, I measured the speed on iPhone 12 with Wi-Fi 6 support. I also have only 100MBps max transfer rate from my internet provider, so I didn't see the benefits of this router.
@@dabin1997 Wi-Fi 7 standard is compatible with Wi-Fi 6 and other previous versions, so you can use BE3600 router with all your devices.
@@TechBrothersReviews Thank you for your quick response. Is it difficult to measure the internal network speed? I would support it if UA-cam Super Chat is open, but it is unfortunate.
Can you setup the router as an access point?
Yes
My devices should support WiFi7 standard?
It is compatible with Wi-Fi 6, Wi-Fi 5 and standards, but if you want to get all the benefits of a router, it is better that your device supports Wi-Fi 7.
The specs of this router do not match the WiFi7 router. How can it be called WiFi 7?
I wonder about that too.
What are the benefits of Wi-Fi 7?
Wi-Fi 7 brings extreme data speeds, lower latencies, and increased network capacity thanks to new capabilities designed to support large numbers of users and devices in bandwidth-intensive environments.
Wi-Fi 7 enables significantly faster speeds by packing more data into each transmission. 320 MHz channels are twice the size of previous Wi-Fi generations-which is somewhat like using a semi-truck to move boxes, compared to a moving van. (Google information)
it's 1 better than wifi 6, obviously
MLO or 6GHz/Wi-Fi 6e ...
320Mhz bandwidth but xiaomi this does not
Only?
You don't agree that it's cheap?
Even without Wi-Fi 7 support, this is a very cheap router
I agree with you.
How about tplink be3600 is it support 6G band? Or just like xiaomi be3600 without 6G band
@@meowsmeows5881TPLink supports 6 GHz, yes!
Operates in 3 bandz, but only supports 2.4 & 5?🤦
Wi-Fi 7 standard operates in 3 bands, but this router only supports 2.4 and 5Ghz.
China doesn't allow Chinese manufacturers to have the 6Ghz band on their routers :/
I love how China's innovation has left the United States 20 years in the past. More power to China!
What innovation? Did you watch the video? This is most likely a fake Wi-Fi 7, and I don't see any innovation here.
I don't trust Xiaomi as well as other Chinese companies
Why?
u trust google, microsoft, facebook?😅 they all the same😅
@@papitoplayarena7962American companies and keeps them within laws but for Chinese companies there are no such arrangements, even there government tells to spy their customers and supply data to govt
Can it be added to an existing mesh network created with Huawei Ax3?
I'm not sure if a Xiaomi router can be used in a Mesh network together with a Huawei router.
