I honestly love that a more honest and non-company owned UA-camr has taken on the style of Disrupt[TV]. What happened with them was a mess and ruined the whole experience for me, but these videos bring back good memories :)

It’s crazy to think that awhile ago the device you were using at the moment could of been helping shut down massive servers and you wouldn’t have a clue of what’s going on, creepy right?. Anyway amazing video Caleb! It was very fascinating to hear the story
Not gonna lie though, the school was incompetent. They knew each DDoS happened right before Exam. They could have easily offset each class's exam to find which class end up with a DDoS right before the exam. From this point they would find which class has a corrupt student. Then split the class in two and offset both group's exam to find out which half get a DDoS right before exam and repeat the process. They could have figure out who was the culprit. *OR: instead of splitting the class and so on just secretly tell to 1 student they suddenly have an exam just for themselves tomorrow and repeat the process with each students over the course of a few weeks. Logically a DDoS would have occured just before Paras's exam.
I got hit by Mirai when I lived in Germany and it was the biggest thing on the news of the "Tagesschau" for over a week. I actually had many exams that month and was super stressed cause i couldn't study for anything. Very happy to see that this has been taken down. Btw, best video youve ever made!
this was mistake on college part, why were they so dependent on internet at all, they could have just made a private network with no access to internet and put all files there, the person who spent $8 million is also a fraud

This is going somewhere big. The editing is so amazing, i've never seen anything like it. You commented on one of my cousins videos awhile back and I didn't even realize who you were until now, and I watch your videos all the time. Great work! Keep it up!
Hey caleb! You've grown a lot as a youtube channel since last I saw you, you commented on a video I made a while ago as i had just started, when you had just started, just wanted to say that you really deserve all these subscribers, even tho I stopped making videos, I really respect you helping out smaller creators who are new to the minecraft youtube community, you deserve all this. Good luck on 50k!
DUUDDDEEE, the editing, the story, music, voice overs, THE PLOTT everything is perfect I don't know how you're doing this Caleb, but it's your year CONQUER IT 💪🏼
Saw the german variant of this one a few years ago but it more focused on how it works not who made it and how it works. Still a good one. Would love to see more like this
Any deliberate disruption to exams or enrolments are almost guaranteed to be perpetrated by a disgruntled student or staff member (either current or former), whether it's the old-school approach of calling in a bomb threat or more sophisticated DDOSing of the institution... after all, who cares about a university's IT department enough to taunt them in long emails each time they launch a DDOS attack?! For Rutgers to assume it was some foreign threat actor (because of the scale of the botnet) feels like an insult to the intelligence & abilities of their own students! 🤦♀
I haven’t checked on your channel in awhile BUT BOY WAS I SURPRISED to see 50k subs and these insane views rolling in! 100 percent deserved your editing is awesome and story telling makes your videos so intriguing. I can’t wait to see how far your channel goes and I’m proud to have been here since around 5k
Pretty funny with Josiah - guy worked for TCPShield, the largest ddos mitigation service for Minecraft servers. He then held the public side (discord, Twitter etc.) hostage with a couple of others. He then used a variant of Mirai to attack non-TCPShield servers.
I think youtube has a glitch it says you only have 46.2k subs I think it is supposed to be 46.2M subs lol ( keep up the good work I love the style of these videos)
