It was such an awesome experience getting to work with this amazing group of brass musicians!!!! Thank you for letting me play with you guys again!!!! It turned out so stunning 💕
Thanks parallax, I'm actually really, really happy to hear that. Video game music is often explicitly tied to the context of the video game it was in, but classical music performances have to be able to stand on their own. So for us and for our arrangements to combine video game music and classical music, we want to be able to evoke the feeling and memories of the game *while* creating an experience that's musically satisfying independent of any other context. It can be a very challenging balancing act, and this arrangement in particular actually alludes to several other Zelda themes in addition to the Great Sea, so I'm really glad to know you were able to enjoy the art as its own experience!
Thanks Jamie! We're also uploading the Horns of Hyrule tracks as singles to Soundrop and Spotify as we finish them, but there will be a Bandcamp album once all the UA-cam videos are out!
Thanks Scott, happy you caught that! The inspiration to include the ALttP theme actually came from a track called Hyrule Fields from Four Swords Adventures, since both "The Great Sea Is Cursed" and Hyrule Fields use the Ganon motive
Glad you like their tone, all of the trumpets are excellent players! The piccolo trumpet does a lot to make the tone bright as well, as does the way this track is mixed!
Ohhhh my gosh THAT game. I love how such a ridiculous thing actually became such an obstacle in speedrunning that they invented a tool that helps solve it!
A wonderful arrangement that pays great respect to both the game and its music. Not to mention some very creative and entertaining video editing! Congrats.
I like reading the notes in the description. Nice to have a little more information and insight there. The Great Sea is definitely something that always gets stuck in my head. So many hours just spent sailing and seeing what cool things exist within that world. This video captured the adventurous charm of Wind Waker's journey, while including some cool nods. Great work, everyone!
Aww, glad you enjoyed it Devmon! This theme and this game are so beautiful, going back and recording the game footage made me want to explore everything all over again, haha. And glad you caught some of the other Zelda references along the voyage!
Outstanding! Been waiting for this one, it’s one of my favourite pieces from the Zelda franchise. Only one I love more is Clocktown, from Majora’s Mask. Excellent work!
Top-notch editing and arrangement! I love the little bits you put in from other songs that fit into the same theme. Only just found you guys but wow, keep up the great work.
Gosh I want Wind Waker to come to Switch so bad. It barely had a chance after being rejected by dweens on its first release, and it's second was on the Wii U.
Incredible work, everyone! Thank you so much for inviting me to participate. :D
Thanks a lot for playing with us, Dewey! You did awesome, especially with those arpeggios!
It was such an awesome experience getting to work with this amazing group of brass musicians!!!! Thank you for letting me play with you guys again!!!! It turned out so stunning 💕
Thanks for playing with us, Dan! No, YOU'RE stunning :D
Wow, I have no emotional connection or history with this game and this performance in objectively amazing.

Salvaging up a guy playing tuba would be legit terrifying though...
Nah it would be amazing. "Free Tuba player?!? Dont mind if i do!"
The editing in these videos along with the music just makes it so good.
Thanks Marney, it definitely takes a lot of time; glad to know you appreciate it ^^
@@theGameBrass I love it!! Beautiful music accompanied by an amazing video. They are well done and the videos give me a good chuckle.😁
what a journey!
I'm on a boat!
Aaaah! Ya'll are killing me! I need this album to hit your Bandcamp page so I can throw money at it!
Thanks Jamie! We're also uploading the Horns of Hyrule tracks as singles to Soundrop and Spotify as we finish them, but there will be a Bandcamp album once all the UA-cam videos are out!
Absolutely brilliant! Especially at 3:29 with the LTTP intro music; cranked the whole thing up to 11!
Thanks Scott, happy you caught that! The inspiration to include the ALttP theme actually came from a track called Hyrule Fields from Four Swords Adventures, since both "The Great Sea Is Cursed" and Hyrule Fields use the Ganon motive
@@theGameBrass Ooooo nice! It just slots right in! Another Romberger special! I'll take mine to go.
The tones of the trumpets are so nice and bright. I wish I could get a sound like that.
Glad you like their tone, all of the trumpets are excellent players! The piccolo trumpet does a lot to make the tone bright as well, as does the way this track is mixed!
This will help me keep my sanity while playing splash kaboom
Ohhhh my gosh THAT game. I love how such a ridiculous thing actually became such an obstacle in speedrunning that they invented a tool that helps solve it!

Glad you enjoyed. Tell your friends!
I want to take a relaxing bath in a bathtub of tasty, melted chocolate whilst this wonderful song plays in the background.
Great arrangement, performance and video editing too! Showing how it's done! 🔥🔥🔥
Heyoooo, glad you liked it sir! Everyone involved did a fantastic job! ^^
Now, this is podracing!
This is beautiful, well done
Thanks Duhemsounds, happy you enjoyed it!
Nicely done, the horns add a majestic quality to the track. And I can't get over the cute animations!
Thanks as always for making such great covers. Really wish this channel got the attention it deserved, but I’ll always be here listening at least!
Glad you enjoyed it Bacon! As for attention, tell your friends I guess, haha
I LOVE it!! Please keep on being creative and letting us enjoy your art!

Oh my god. That was amazing guys. I can't imagine how much work the editing must have taken.
Good job to y'all!
Thanks Rich! Yeaaaaah it's a lot, but we've been sharing the editing work lately, and that process makes it a bit more bearable!
Outstanding! Been waiting for this one, it’s one of my favourite pieces from the Zelda franchise. Only one I love more is Clocktown, from Majora’s Mask.
Excellent work!
Glad you enjoyed it, macguy! The Zelda series really has some great overworld and hub area themes, eh?
That arrangement was so nice, great job Daniel! Also great job to everybody with the playing, sounded great.
Thanks a lot Vikingja! Happy you enjoyed it!
Top-notch editing and arrangement! I love the little bits you put in from other songs that fit into the same theme. Only just found you guys but wow, keep up the great work.
Excellent work ! it must have take lots of times to achieve it !!!!
Thanks! It took a lot of effort for sure, haha
This was a great recording & video even before it unexpectedly swerved into the LttP prologue, amazing stuff and thank you all
That might be my single favorite moment of the entire album. Thanks, glad you enjoy it too!
This is incredible, I love the editing so much too. So fun and fits great with the game
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed it

😲😲😯😯🥺🥺
What is the insturment in the middle at 0:14? A bass trumpet?
Good eye, yup, it is a bass trumpet! Bass trumpet looks kinda goofy, though it actually has a range that's very similar to trombone's!
Rotary trumpet!
Yessss, good eye! :D
The Floating Brass
the links in the description are corrupted
Thanks for pointing that out! I believe they're fixed now
Could you guys do a cover of Watery Graves from Plants vs. Zombies? Thanks!
