I may be the mother referenced. My daughter was diagnosed with MGDA when she was an infant. No other abnormalities, just unilateral MGDA. Her opthalmologist did not order an MRA. She should have. She had her first MRA/MRI when she was 18 which revealed unilateral cerebral narrowing. Moyamoya syndrome. We did not know the association. If you are a Dr., from a mom, yes order that scan. 😊
@@cjjohn5251hi my daughter has morning glory in her left eye. Did your daughter have other health isiuses that warranted getting the MRA/MRI? My daughter is healthy I’m just wonder if she should get the MRA/MRI as well. Thanks for any information you can give?
Hello everyone, my son was diagnosed with morning glory syndrome in both eyes and he is five years old, I would like to know what his vision will be like later on.
@@evelyn9971 sorry to hear that 😔. My right eye has this syndrome. I am able to with that eye 20%. This percentage has never increased since my birth. I hope one day scientist will cure this problem.
@@Ozi09739 ohh it’s good that it hasn’t increased. My left eye started with 60% and now it’s 3% and my right eye started with 100% now it’s 60%. It’s increasing really fast on my eyes
Thank you so much, Dr. Lee, for your excellent video! Blessing to you for your kindness.
Thank you Dr. Lee. 🤗 Yes! How important that imaging is for early diagnosis!
Thank a lot! How can the vision of the affected eye be improved?
Greetings from Egypt Dr Lee
Very fruitful information 👍
Is there any treatment for it?
