I wish the best for you :). I'm a Thai and I'm also dating a German and we meet each other 3 times a year. We plan that I will move to Germany in a couple of years. But, I speak baby German and I find the language very difficult. Here in Thailand, I work in our family business and have a very secured job and salary. I do feel afraid of moving honestly 🙈. But I will try my best and hope everything will work out ☺️💕
Thanks for your message, wishing you all the best with your relationship! It's never too late to learn the language and I just started learning since I moved here :)
Disclaimer: Please don't see the following as a personal attack, but an expression of curiousity out of the lack of personal understanding of such situations. Why are you even seriously considering such a move? You see each other 3 times a year, you have a secured job and salary. If you weigh these factors against each other, it should be a no brainer that you will NOT move. Maybe I'm just too different of a person but I would not even consider moving in together with someone that I see that seldom. When I moved in with my partner it was out of the realization that we basically lived together in her appartment all the time after 13 months of being together. So we decided to find a place for the both of us. But a long distance relationship? And then moving to a different country where you don't speak the language, giving up the secure job you have? For love alone? Do you think that is wise?
@@Quotenwagnerianer I think to find a fitting partner is not that easy. So if you find one, hang on. Having a local partner (and his friends) also makes the integration into a new country a lot easier. Also moving into a different environment helps your personality develop a lot. So actually there are a lot of reasons to move. But of course: I would just say the exact opposite, if one day my daughter would want to move to her partner I a different country ...
