    Okay, let me just say I love how you show the mistakes and when the dog doesn’t listen 100% it really shows how they can make mistakes

      I appreciate you saying that! I think a lot of people only show the good parts but the mistakes are just as important. Every dog and handler makes mistakes!

    I love that your SD still smells around. Everyone without a SD is under the impression that they need to be perfect, eyes on you 24/7! I’m glad that you’re showing that it’s not always like that. My SD is tiny (12 lbs but he’s medical alert) and only been in training for less than a year. People get super curious about your business when a tiny dog in a vest comes in 😅

      I appreciate your comment! Moose is not perfect but he is perfect for my needs and falls under what the ADA outlines for service dogs. He sniffs sometimes and I left in a clip where he didn't listen to a command the first time. Because that's reality of being a service dog team! Thank you for recognizing that!!

    Yes, I'd definitely love to see an video on advanced or even just beginning PA training. I just lost my service dog to cancer in January and I'm planning to try and train my own rather than have to wait 4 years for another one.

    Thank you for showing his mistakes! I really appriciate it.Its hard not to feel ashamed with my SDit when she makes a mistake like sniffing a product,or not listening the first time,so its really nice to see the reality of your team! A lot of service dog content on yt only shows the flawless parts.

    This video is really good quality and I love it! I have a very tiny service dog in training(bout 8 pounds lol)he’s for LPT, learning sh interruptions and over helps me with my PTSD and helps me get out into public more without feeling uncomfortable. I have autism so often I can’t carry a good conversation or I have a really hard time going out in public but luckily my dog has really helped me with that and I’m the kind of person that I have to be doing two things kinda at once to be able to focus (if that makes sense) so training him and having my focus on him half the time is really helpful for anxiety of overthinking simple things. Anyways, your dog is super cool and good!
    Just wanted to share my SD little story ig lol.
    Have a good day or night 🖤

    I have had severe Crohns since I was a little kid and learning to live with it has been a challenge but I recently started using a dog and wow does it make my life soo much easier. I am still getting used to the weird looks when we go to stores.

      I'm glad your dog has helped make it easier for you! It takes some getting used to but eventually you don't even pay attention to the looks and comments

    Ok, the wanting to walk ahead while still in heel, randomly wanting to sniff, and not wanting to lay down when you tell them down the first time, HAS to be a poodle trait, cause my poodle sd does the same exact things! 😂😂

    I’m so interested in how you trained him to have such a great tight heel. I’m having a hard time with that.

      I'm actually filming a service dog q&a and will add this question to my list! I would also be able to explain a little better that way as well :)

    Hi and thank you for answering. What about some of the bets breeds for service dogs video there ups and down and what they work really well with

  • @asecretcourtofcrowsandcloc4084

    Moos is very well behaved. Is he mobility and medical response service dog? I’d be interested to see a video on how you prepared him for public access.

    Mine started in a grocery store because there was certain training things there that I couldn't really replicate in my house i personally am training her without a trainer or program and just by myself

    • @baileerosemary
      @baileerosemary  5 місяців тому

      It's definitely not typical to start a dog at the grocery store. Owner training is hard and I wish you the best of luck in your journey!

    Do you have any tips for keeping your dog more focused on you? My dog is 7 months old and we're not sure if i need a SD yet but even then I would love him to be more focused on me for safety and ppl often try to distract him witch annoys me because im just trying to get my stuff. I would love to know for the future with my future dogs and i feel like its a very good thing for a dog to know

    • @baileerosemary
      @baileerosemary  Рік тому +2

      To keep a dog more focused on you, I would definitely work on bonding! This can be done several ways but do bonding exercises, hand feed every meal, be the main person to handle the dog, also be the one to give mental and physical stimulation. Especially if you end up getting a service dog, that bond and being able to read each other is very important. I hope this helped!

      I could do a lake day video! My dogs like getting in the lake but only to their chests-they don’t like to swim around 😂
