I find it fascinating how when I bring up propaganda topics with friends they are reflexively skeptical, but if different person or "qualified" person brings up the same thing they are way more receptive.
We all go through it. They don't believe it until it becomes maint stream news

i love that an awakening doesn’t happen just once. I feel like everyday my consciousness just expands. it all just seems like nothing matters but you have to find the things that matter to keep your little character (you) going. I think when i first started questioning everything i would want to change ppl n make them more aware of their consciousness. i’ve come to accept that everyone is just in their own world and so am I. It’s so beautiful that i get to understand that i create my own reality with my thoughts, actions, and words.
Well put. It can especially be hard when you have older family members or parents who have been very successfully put under the thumb of the powers that be. I feel theres not much I can do as pushing back or offering alterative viewpoints only threatens their ego

Seeming how quantum physics proved local reality doesn’t exists and comes to fruition from consciousness I think your thought is misguided. The brain has simple patterns but consciousness seems to permeate reality and bring it to existence.
The simplest of things are usually the most questioned/overlooked yet the correct order
Brainwashing from birth, though, is “easy” too. Becoming “conscious” of the influence of others, then, is really relearning how to exist without the programming…which unlearning so much. Many foundational principles are intertwined with the programming. Learning to walk may have happened at the same time as learning how to dissociate. These are very challenging things to unravel…especially when so much of it goes unseen and happens internally in the individual. I understand what you’re saying. At the same time: many things are “simple” once you know how to do them. Just my thoughts.

I use a set of dictionaries from the 1940s Thorndike/Barnhart for definitions.
We've experienced during the pandemic how definitions were changed to agree with the narrative.

My dictionary is not quite as venerable as yours, but stemming from the same impetus I purchased the Webster's Family Dictionary from 1997 - still well before our cultural revolution. In it, for example, marriage is defined as the union of a man and woman. Times are indeed perilous.
Came to understand the spell of propaganda I was into, and others too, but now everything feels like propaganda, UA-cam, etc. its kinda hard to trust anything especially when you’re lonely and don’t have that constant feedback from people.
Seeing like this is a gift and a curse. The gift is that it makes talking to people so easy, but the curse is that it makes everyone seem so delicate and blissful almost like I want to protect those who are too blissful. It’s weird.
It’s lonely to see things others don’t. Talking is easy, but getting close to people entails feeling responsible to protect them from what they don’t or can’t know/understand yet.
It’s in our nature to protect eachother, we want to protect others and also feel safe. It’s easy to forget that when all anyone tells us to do is go against eachother. We crave unity, and all we’re taught is how to divide and be conquered.
Knowing that at the end of the day we’re all just very smart animals who need to be there for eachother, it just makes us want that more. Makes us want it for others. We want to protect our fellow man because its a way of keeping true unity alive without subscribing to any propagandas that only offer you a false sense of it
Leaders also know how to blow sunshine up their followers’ asses, making the followers feel like the chosen ones and that they are special and awesome and that God has selected them personally.

Most mainstream media will only show a frame for 3 seconds before switching to the next frame. Some older programs from 1950s and 60's are longer than three seconds.

The hardest part about leaving the cult I was raised in; the precipice, was the sense of duty. That, beyond reason, facts, feelings; was the notion of leaving others behind.
Im so glad that my parents taught me to think for myself and to not be afraid to go against the current. They taught me to explore all sides of an idea before committing to an opinion of it. They also taught me basic logic- which is extremely handy when trying to find the truth of the matter in question. You have to be open to every aspect, even the crazy ones. You dont have to agree with things as stated- you can pick and choose over all ideas of what makes the most sense to you. Be able to change your beliefs as you grow in knowledge and life experience. The more you are willing to change your beliefs, the closer you get to real truth. Instead of manipulating info and ideas to reiterate your beliefs, you grow and change as new info and ideas find you. What may work for you today, hopefully wont work for you a year from now. If it does- youve become stagnate in your growth.
As an example of picking and choosing- using the example he gave- support the troops. You can support the troops without supporting the government that controls them. You can support men and women who are trying to better themselves, and the world and are willing to risk their lives to do so. If the troops are fighting a war, you may not agree with the war but you can support the people who are willing to fight for a cause. They didnt start the war, they may not even agree with the war. But they are willing to fight for a country that has given them so much, and stands for so much. That is respectable and honorable.
Highly recommend you read the book. "propaganda" written by the new if Sigmund Freud

I was letting this play in the background right when I was about to grab the book Im currently reading at the time and I look up at the video and it was at 8:41 and its a picture of Shoko Asahara and his cult. The book I'm reading is Underground by Haruki Murakami (which is basically about the Japanese cult Aum and it's leader Shoko Asahara). So strange had I not glanced up at that moment or choose to watch this video at a different time, I never would of caught it.
Capitalism and giant corporations are cool and all, they work and built us to where we are today, but the formula used for gains and profit doesn't take into account the value of human life.

The Next Door app is a perfect example. It is propaganda directed at you to make you think your neighbors feel that way, and that false things are going on in your neighborhood. Total propaganda posts.
A text book example of a recent, unprecedented and MASSIVE propaganda campaign is the whole Covid 19 phenomena. In particular, the Covid vaccine/booster marketing campaign (which I never succumbed too). The intensity and relentlessness almost reached a level of the absurd.
