Yes another amazing logging video. Everytime I watch then it inspires me to want to log on the game when I go then I become frustrated with some of the equipment for consoles especially the swing arm loader. So I've got to go to a tractor to load my trucks which is slow! #SMH
What control are you using to manually slide the logs through the processor without doing a cut?
all FDR mods have a control to move the spiked wheels on the processor head
Definitely I need to make a conscious effort to incorporate the slasher in gameplay
PS4 controller plus mac=My logging skills become bad. Ima try and use the base game key binds for the PS4 and see if they are comfortable fot me

For the work. I just downloaded the newest updated mods and I seen where the strap is gone from several claws like the dangling. Is there anyway I can add this back in files or anything? I always log on the farming maps and the logs get to wobbling and those strap were the best thing ever.
And did you change the weight to a lighter weight of the machine?

Hey there FDR video is awesome and the slasher trailer is cool, the last update works great the machines dont slide for me anymore i did do some work on the xml myself to get things to work with the old machines before the update but all works great. Thanks and love playing with the mods.

Hey fdr I have noticed that the slasher can hit be hauled with the base game trucks. It like sits too low and drags on the ground. Hopefully you can fix this so I can use it with my trucks

Considering logitech does steering wheels for consoles I don't think it's to far fetched to say the joysticks can be used on console that being said you may have to get an adaptor or two

I Don’t Like The proccesser
I’ve never used this sim, I’m a real life logger and I’m just wondering if there’s anyone using joysticks that replicate a real processor, ie Danfoss or Suregrip handles? I’m curious if it would be possible to use it to train new operators so they didn’t have to learn which button does what on a machine that’s burning fuel.

I wonder if it would be possible to just replace the entire joystick with a real unit from a machine, I can get the parts but I wouldn’t know how to begin wiring it so it would interface properly with the sim. The way our joysticks are set up, you need a button for each of your 4 left hand fingers, 2 of your right hand fingers, and a rocker switch for each thumb. It would be so much cleaner and more useful for training if you could use actual joysticks like the machines have
I think it would really hard to change the parts out, but would be awesome if possible!
