I have a Briggs and Riley international carry on. And I love it. But this one looks amazing. There is a ton of videos on the 35L version of this, but I have only found a few videos talking about the 40L. So thank you for making this.
Great review. I’ve been waiting for the spinner to be released! Even though it’s a premium priced product, they didn’t skimp on the high grade aluminum compared to other similarly priced products.
Not yet with the 40L however I have their 35L carry-on which I have travelled with and it still looks fantastic. A few tiny scratches but that’s to be expected. I haven’t ever checked it though.
Definitely make your decision based on all the information you have available to you. However, my experience with these Sterling Pacific cases has been phenomenal and they are very well built. If you don't want little dents and scratches along the way. Yeah maybe don't get aluminum suitcases, but I really like it. What kind of damage did that 35L case get?
IMO, the only downside of the roller is that Sterling Pacific did not keep the hinges from the 35L. I dislike how the top can't stay open. It flops around

Absolutely! And thank you for your comment. You’ll have to let me know if you end up getting it.

Interesting stuff
Indeed
Did you actually travel with it? A lot of similar reviews showed the case after some trips and the cases had some pretty nasty dents.

@@SignedSojourner Thanks
I want this set but the issue I fly international economy class regularly and I saw a review where the 35 L was damaged.

Very nice, but even heavier than Tumi!
Yeah, it's definitely a pretty heavy carry-on. Very very well built but heavy.

I do really love to hinge system on the 35L but I'm not to sure it would work that well with this kind of clam shell design.
