    Love this video! This is the best video on braiding garlic I have seen, and the FIRST to say that you can braid hard-neck garlic! Ingenious! I really like your no-nonsense, simple approach to working and using the braid. Thanks so much for doing this.

    Thank you so much. I’ve just grown and harvested my first garlic and now I know how to braid it. Much love from England. ❤️

    In a small garden bed in England I've just harvested some 20+ bulbs. Looked for instruction on braiding, and this was by far the best. I'm such a novice to growing garlic that I didn't know about soft/hard neck varieties. Love the damp towel tip and I now know where to wield the hammer if needed.

    You are wonderful! Best braiding video anywhere. I keep referring back to it, pause, rewind, pause rewind. I will get better at braiding garlic because of you. You have so many years experience so I consider you the expert. Thanks for the video.

    Can you cut off a whole bulb. If I supplied these to a deli can a whole bulb be cut off and sold? If so do you take from the top or the bottom? Anybody know?

    Thank you for taking the time to make this video. I can’t wait to braid my hard neck garlic. I actually thought you could only braid the soft neck. I’ve never braided them before and now with your lesson I feel confident I can do this!

    Down to Earth Video. The British are so funny in the comments. It’s like their grandmother taught them nothing. Lost. I am surprised but suggest they take a trip to Maramures and the rest of Transylvania to get regrounded in the old ways. Like Charlie.

    Do you braid after or before you cure garlic ? ?

    • @peter9477
      @peter9477 3 роки тому

      I'm no expert but braiding before would reduce airflow around them and that's going to be more conducive to disease and mold etc... I wouldn't do it before. (But I'm also trying to understand why one braids garlic... is it just "fun"?)
