Wow...toward the end of the vide you actually drove by the building that collapse. And at the end you were actually standing almost across the street. Sad...condolences to those families. We actually drove the A1A from Miami Beach all the way to our hotel in Fort Lauderdale. It is a nice relaxing drive.

I very much appreciate that aspect of the walking tours as well. Maybe it would be best to reserve the walking tours for more "quiet and beautiful" spots and the driving for city and urban areas like this

Hello Michael, Video looks great man, thank you so much for the tour, it will be nice if you maybe one day tour some other neighborhoods in Miami area, like Coconut Grove, Coral Gables, Miami lakes Etc..... Thanks
This video brings back memories. I enjoyed my visit to Miami a few years ago but I didn't like the hotel(friend chose it). 5445 Collins Ave was terrible. Never again!
This is a terrific video! I much appreciate seeing the locations of all the buildings relative to the street and to other buildings. I recognize some of them from Zillow, when I was checking out condos for sale. I still look at condos sometimes, but I'm being forced to wait for awhile. Anyway, your driving on the actual street is so much more informative than google maps. Thanks for doing this!
That's great, I'm so glad you found it helpful. I agree, seeing actual footage is so much better than google maps, especially since that can get outdated quickly👍

Couple of random thoughts Michael ... really enjoyed this driving tour and hope to see more of them 👍🏻. Driving past the old hotels of like the Cadillac, Fontainebleau, Deauville reminded me of being a kid of the 50s/60s in Chicago burbs and my Mom and Dad flying down to Miami Beach for some away time from us 7 kids. I can still see them all dressed up to fly and my Mom wearing her mink stole around her shoulders. And then there always were the little trinket presents that they would bring back for us. I agree with you, I’m just have no desire to live in cray cray SoBe. I much prefer a walkable quiet neighborhood a few blocks off of the beach. (That said, I still wouldn’t move from East Ft. Lauderdale though). I did notice that once you got up into the 5000 block, it did seem like “condo canyon” which is a bummer. I’m not overly fond of high rises ... it’s like living in a hotel to me. 3-4 stories is good 😉. Keep up the terrific work.
That is pretty cool I could drum up some old memories for you Rob! Sounds like your parents really enjoyed coming down to Miami Beach back in the day. I wouldn't want to live down in south beach either. If you think Miami Beach is condo canyon, just wait till I drive Sunny Isles! Mega condo canyon lol
I like this type of video.....better than a walking tour because we get to see lots more. It is like myself driving around exploring but not having to take a flight or rent a car! I like also how you keep up the commentary as you drive because it makes it more interesting. Some other UA-camrs are silent on their drive-throughs and I get bored very quickly. Also, Michael, your dashcam works really well, the video and audio came through very clearly on my laptop. Would you mind sharing with us what type of dashcam you have as I am in the market for one myself? Thanks again for another great video.
Thank you Golden Guardian, I agree, and about showing more with driving and I was thinking that ever since I started the walking tours. I have seen some driving vids as well, and no one ever says a word! I'm with you on that too. Glad the quality was good for you! I linked the exact dash cam I am using along with the memory card in the description. FYI, the audio was recorded separately, as the dascham audio is not that great. I will be doing a review on it soon and posting it on the channel 👌
The picture quality is OK, the dash cam covers more area than walking with video device , it has its own application. I though Los Angeles traffic was bad, turn out Miami Beach is the same. Anyway good job, I like it.
That was my thought too, its not bad for a $200 camera, not the best ever, but it gets the job done. Yep the traffic here is comparable to LA a lot of times I would say!
Ok...as the car ride went on, I enjoyed it more (when you got down by the Fontain Bleu). The traffic seemed to move better, and it was even more interesting. Plus, I slowed down...I am at work...and sitting at my desk, so I can focus on this video better.
Right my man . I like your comment about people being able to make their own decisions about wearing a mask. I will be in Miami around June the Sixth. Maybe you can help me with some more questions I have .
Yes I am glad FL is open and allows people to do what they want. You can book a consulting call with me anytime you want if you have questions about living here👌
Perhaps you can work your way north along Collins and show us Surfside, Sunny Isles, and then give us a tour of Aventura. These are all places I’m considering moving to. Thanks!
Thanks Lili! I see that, not sure why, I have already set it a couple times...Was thinking of just getting rid of all the time stamp info all together since for whatever reason it doesnt stay as set
@@MichaelBordenaro Another idea is to use the app "Relive". This app makes a video of the path you're driving and you can add the video on the corner of the main video. This way we could see a "live" GPS of the location you're recording. And the last suggestion is to add arrows when you're talking about a building. It is hard to find the exact building you're talking about among the others.
@@imDanoush I like that idea but in order to do it, I might need a 2nd phone lol. I use my phone to record the audio with microphone since the dashcam audio isn't good and the phone has to be on airplane mode when I do that...

Hello Michael your videos are really informative and as a single mom with a kid moving to Miami I find your videos very helpful. Are there any recommendations on best walkable neighbor hoods in North Miami Beach? I am also considering coconut grove which do you think is better for families North Miami Beach or Coconut grove? I like to walk with my daughter to cafes schools parks etc.
Hi Tab, thanks, I'm happy to hear that! I think both spots, north beach and coconut grove are good for familes and walking. In north beach, you would want to ideally live between 63rd st and 76th to keep things walkable or the eastern part of normandy isle. Coconut grove is pretty small so you would, want to live near town center as close as possible
Thank you Rich! In your opinion, if the video is shorter, do you think its better to just cover less area to make it shorter or cut out all the traffic stops and only show when I'm moving?
Let me know what you guys think of this new type of video! 😀
The new cam is great! Resolution is just as good, if not better than the iPhone! Thanks
Maybe do a tour of Coconut Grove and Downtown Coral Gables someday.

@@MichaelBordenaro ... yeah Michael, in fact, I believe during the 50s - 60s Miami Beach was touted as “America’s Riviera”
@@robyoungquist5803 I am sure it was! Those were the golden days here
I like this type of video.....better than a walking tour because we get to see lots more.
@@MichaelBordenaro Thanks Michael
Great video please do more of them.
Thanks! Will do Hector!
Cool video! Very useful for someone going to Miami.
Glad you think so!
Loving the video👍🏿
So glad!
You even got the 4K one! My monitor loves you!
Oh yes!! 1080p was so 10 years ago 😎
The DeVille building looks very Interesting. I hope it will be renovated at some point.
Its a sad situation with that place. I don't know if it will ever get renovated. At this point, it probably makes more sense to knock it down
Big fan of driving tour. We can hear you clear and you cover more ground
I'm happy to know that Criss! I'll be doing more for sure
Great video Michael, I like the idea of driving tours with commentary. Almost forgot that I actually Iive here watching this, lol. 👍🏾
That is pretty cool Ralphie! If I can make you forget you live here it must have been good 😄
@@MichaelBordenaro Lol, you are correct. 😆Your commentary on Miami Beach makes the video very interesting! 😎
@@TheRalphie2020 That is great to know, I'll be doing more of these for sure👌
@@MichaelBordenaro this is awesome!!!
@@TheRalphie2020 It's awesome for me too my friend✌️
Love this! Keep 'em coming!
You got it John!
Ok...as the car ride went on, I enjoyed it more (when you got down by the Fontain Bleu). The traffic seemed to move better, and it was even more interesting. Plus, I slowed down...I am at work...and sitting at my desk, so I can focus on this video better.
Yeah the first half of this video I was stuck! That is exactly why I usually don't go anywhere on Friday if I can lol
This makes me want to get a dash cam!!!! Great video!!❤️
You should! This one I got wasn't that expensive it the picture is decent plus its pretty easy to use👌
Great video man
Appreciate it
Loved it!!!
keep it up
Thank you! Will do!
@@MichaelBordenaro ❤️
I like the driving video! 👍🏽
More to come!
Right my man . I like your comment about people being able to make their own decisions about wearing a mask. I will be in Miami around June the Sixth. Maybe you can help me with some more questions I have .
Yes I am glad FL is open and allows people to do what they want. You can book a consulting call with me anytime you want if you have questions about living here👌
Love the driving tour…..I follow the road via google earth.
Awesome! Glad you enjoyed!
nice dash cam/good for you, great quality, like it. nice ride along, viewing from nys, much appreciated - thx so much!
Glad you enjoyed it! Releasing a new one in a few mins 😊
This is great. U should do more of these. And hey what’s the brand of the dash cam u using please?
Thanks Timo, I can certainly do that 👌 Here the link to the exact dashcam I am using amzn.to/32noqtR
Yes! Definitely more of these videos please
Perhaps you can work your way north along Collins and show us Surfside, Sunny Isles, and then give us a tour of Aventura. These are all places I’m considering moving to. Thanks!
@@sarlineh Most definitely! Just wanted to keep it to one area, so the vids aren't too long and broken down more by the towns like that 👌
@@sarlineh You got it!
I love this video 😍 Your camera is showing April 14th instead of 16th.
Thanks Lili! I see that, not sure why, I have already set it a couple times...Was thinking of just getting rid of all the time stamp info all together since for whatever reason it doesnt stay as set
@@MichaelBordenaro I, for some reason, like seeing date and time.
@@lilipop5080 I just did a new drive yesterday and took it off since it wouldn't show correctly, but maybe in future ones I can show it again
I like you mixing things up :) I thought the quality and content was very good! What kind of dash cam did you get?
Thank you! I have the dashcam and memory card I am using in the description of the video if you're interested 😊
Awesome video, I suggest making a dash cam compilation video later on! :)
Thanks for the idea!
Thank you veru nice. Greetings Frömurum Iceland.
You're welcome Berglind! You're the first comment I've seen from Iceland, very cool 😎
@@MichaelBordenaro It is very nice to sit and drive with you. I have been to Florida 3 times. One cruise trip to caribbean 2010. I was an exchange student from Iceland long time ago in Rome NY (up state). Went to High School there for one year have friends all over the USA. Keep on making videos, blessings to you.
@@berglindhallgrimsdottir6124 Thanks for riding with me Berglind, I have another one coming out soon! Glad I could bring back some U.S. memories for you 😀
Love the video, thanks for posting!!
You're welcome Theresa!
Another banger ^^
Thanks Yannick!!
I love it. I'm interested in going back asap lol.
Nice! Come back anytime👌
great video, enjoyed it, most of it was blurry though, Thanks!
Thanks Bill! If it was blurry, check your settings on youtube. It could have been streaming in low quality on your end. This is a 4k video so it should be crystal clear
Like the driving tour and talk
I'm loviN iT❤Thank yoU
Awesome, glad to hear that!
This was a great video. I know this one had to be good and long to fit everything in, but I think others should be shorter. Twenty minutes max.
Thank you Rich! In your opinion, if the video is shorter, do you think its better to just cover less area to make it shorter or cut out all the traffic stops and only show when I'm moving?
excelente video , sigue haciendo videos manejando auto por florida , gracias
