Kiyosaki is a poison, a tool of a sick neo-liberal thinking. There's a system of value rewarding that is very much rigged. Robert's dad teaches people, a noble task. Robert do sales talk, presenting value of something that isnt there. Who gets rewarded better? Yes, the son. Is it bacause he's more valuable? No. It's because he has adjusted better to a sick system. Formal education is supposed to make people capable of advancing humanity. Education is never for money. There are people like kiyosaki who teaches how to deal with the world as it is. This is not the mindset we need to have a world as it should be. Kiyosaki wants you to make adjustments to a sick system rather than actually becoming valuable to others. He's a poison. Education system remains sick but it is our chance to make our people have greater value, and not Kiyosaki bootcamp. The existing system only allows a few to become rich but the system will make all think that everyone can become as fortunate as Kiyosaki. Isnt that sick? If you fail, it's your fault. That's too neo-liberal. It removes the burden to us as a society like it's not our fault as a civilization. We blame those who failed to make adjustments. And everyone blames themselves. And the system remains unchanged. The rich adjusted well to the system. The poor only failed to adjust. Social status doesn't talk about our true value.
Everybody who commented "money doesn't buy happiness" or " money isn't everything" totally missed the point this guy made. He was talking about that mentality right there.
If money doesn't buy happiness, does poverty? I find that most people who say money doesn't matter usually use that as an excuse to not forgo instant gratification for a better tomorrow. I don't believe money is everything, but it's an important piece of the equation. There has to be a balance. Freedom + Fitness + Friends & Family = Wealth
@@boopboop9356 I reject both extremes to the equation. Saying "money doesn't matter" is dumb, because in this world, money does matter a lot. Saying "money is all that matters" is also dumb, because it's only one part of it all. Money doesn't buy happiness, but it sure helps to have money. Poverty certainly doesn't buy happiness either. I've seen many people go from loving each other to arguing and being mad at each other because of lack of money. There is tremendous truth in what is said in this video. We are trained to think in certain ways about money, to have enough but not have on excess for example. I think a balance is needed. If money is all you care about, life loses its color. If you don't care about money, it tends to become a struggle, and that doesn't lead to a colorful life either. I love money, but that doesn't mean I love money more than I love the people I have in my life.
Actually you go for 12 years so you are the exact mold of the person the government wants you it's training actually, not training that'll make you rich but training that will make you an obedient servant
Education is only a foundation for your future. Rich or poor depends on your decisions in life. You could become rich as an engineer or as a successful artist. It all depends on you and how you live your life. There is no single path to success.
People are robots. They are the nuts and bolts the of industrialized capitalism and without the suffering, hard working poor and middle class, nothing gets done. So of course they punish us for making mistakes. Would you like your taxi driver robot to misbehave? How about your restaurant waiter? Or your car mechanic? Robots have to perform exactly as instructed. This is why schools create exams.
The school punishes....is that why those who did not complete the curriculum are passed to other grades anyway? Is that why you can go to school and have free lunches and free childcare? Is that why illegal children can enroll in the system and receive a free education? Is that why the parents can show up and defend their mischievous child and avoid punishment? I can think of a dozen more, but I’ve made my point.
Ruth Alvarez Reason for all those problems, they are created from letting liberals control the education system. It's always someone else's fault, take no responsibility, give them another chance. The schools and universities teach us how to be slaves to the corporate paid governments.
A lot of people have been talking about an upcoming bounce this year. I recently sold my Boca Grande, Florida house, and I want to invest a lump sum before equities recover in the stock market. Is now a good time to buy or not?
I don't believe there has ever been a better method to understand how to enhance your wealth than by working with a skilled portfolio advisor who can research and experience a wide range of markets. The value of the U.S. dollar clearly has an impact on investing in a variety of ways.
Because of these market uncertainties, I was left holding worthless positions in the market in 2020, thus I don't base my market analyses and decisions on rumours and hearsay. I had to completely restructure my portfolio with the help of an advisor before I saw any visible benefits; I've been working with the same advisor and have scaled up to 750k.

Your brain only shuts down because you want it to. Your employer certainly is not forcing you to stay in your position. You only chose this path and has nothing to do with being poor or rich. You cld continue to work for somebody until u have earned enough money or experience to start your own business. Working as an employee is certainly not a dead end. He just wants you to think like that so you go buy his fcken books and have a read.
That statement made an impression on me, too, but upon reflection, it didn't resonate. Some of the most ambitious people I've ever seen collect paychecks inside corporations. Their brains are definitely not shut down. Kiyosaki makes interesting points that are worth pondering, but it would be wise to consider him to "always be closing". This is not necessarily a bad thing, but it does get more of his products and services sold, too. I'm not mad at him for that. He does it well, and inspires people to risk failure in pursuit of their dreams.
Yep. Poor parents can't send their kids to college at all. You gotta take out loans and accumulate mountains of debt right from the start of your adult life. Rich dads can just give their children $60 million to start a business, invest in stocks, or just hold onto while earning interest from the banks. Pretty easy for them, tbh. But, oh no, don't tax them! That's EVIL and GREEDY for the poor to think! They are bad guys! The rich are really good, kind-hearted people, who just don't want to hand out money to EVIL, GREEDY poors! Good for them, standing up to Satan the homeless man! It's so brave! Now, give me money.

I have been training my mind since I was 18 to think positively. Thinking positive does not mean you do not feel upset, deposed, sad or unhappy. What it means is you feel all the emotions yet you choose to see the positive aspect in the most negative situation. Being an optimist in negative situations is like silverlining. Life as it is, is full of rocky terrains but it is upto us to make it a bed of roses. We have the power but our ignorance takes the best of us as we allow our minds to control us rather than us controlling our mind. Our mind is the most powerful instrument in our body and to train it to it's utmost potential is our gift to ourselves and the word.

Being born into the Rothschild family helps, just a tiny weenie bit though... The old saying, the poor and middle can make one big mistake and it's game over for them. The rich, those born into it, can make mistake after mistake after mistake with little to no reprecussion. For example; Terry Brandstad, Iowa former governor, son was in a car accident awhile back. He was suspected of drunk driving. The driver of the other vehicle died on the scene from severe injuries. Brandstad got off the hook. No involuntary manslaughter. The whole situation stinks of corruption. When you are in a family of rich and powerful, you get special privilege. Period. Yes, some people make it on their own. But in this world,it's who you know and where you were born into. Even Robert said his dad was a PHD. Be nice to see Robert start from scratch in poverty in this day and age and see his success.
Yes. He made some good points about the education system but seems to be lacking other context about poverty. Maybe because he was born into privilege himself. He made interesting points in some parts of the video but grossly oversimplified poverty in other parts. Like “the poor are greedy”. Worker production has gone up significantly over the decades but wages have stayed the same. Not because of greed of the workers but from people at the top. And he seems to not understand that poor people cannot take the same entrepreneurial risks that he could because he already became wealthy. Telling poor people that there are no systemic issues and they are poor solely from their choices is disastrous. I agree with him though about the education system teaching people how to be employees instead of entrepreneurs. I noticed that in college.

Take a look at it from the speakers side. I know the example that I'm going to use is simply a movie; Idiocracy; that movie made a valid point. The overall intelligence quotient of any given population is based on the simple numbers of how many smarter people exist in comparison to the rest of the dumber ones, and how dumb are the dumb ones truly. Gregor Mendel proved that genetics is a real thing and that genetic traits get passed on through each generation, so what if stupidity is one of them? What if the "poor person gene" is analogous for a lesser intelligent person who is generationally trained to be bad with money? The way he says it makes it seem outlandish and even downright stupid, but given some context, maybe it's not so crazy.

The real problem is defining success and failure entirely in terms of money. Rich people are so programmed to it that they are incapable of seeing it from any other perspective.

Poor is economical status, it's ok in poor but be happy
So money is the ultimate motivator in life? I reject both sides' mentalities.

Education is only a foundation for your future. Rich or poor depends on your decisions in life. You could become rich as an engineer or as a successful artist. It all depends on you and how you live your life. There is no single path to success.
The last line shook me up like hell... school system punishes us for making mistakes!! this is true...
Yeah, and it’s a good thing. The last thing I’d want is a heart surgeon who doesn’t know what he’s doing. Cut the delusional crap and get real.

Reason for all those problems, they are created from letting liberals control the education system. It's always someone else's fault, take no responsibility, give them another chance. The schools and universities teach us how to be slaves to the corporate paid governments.

He virtually spent his entire life like a spoiled little rich kid, aloof and distant from the reality of true poverty. He feigned a "working class" persona from an ivory tower to ease his moral conscience. Easy to preach "power to the people" while you live in 5 star hotels, a huge mansion in Berkshire with over 70 acres, or an exclusive NY apartment in the Dakota Building. Yeah, a true working class hero! 😃
horse face yet people like Lennon would vote for everyone to be poor so yeah...horrible role model.
@@DG-mv6zw DG I guess you mean that John Lennon never did anything for society to earn his income, spoiled little rich kid, did John Lennon's father give him all the money, so he never worked hard at his music, he simply won the lottery right ?
@@lovepeace8918 well, a bit of both. But he did not come from the working class, thus he did not have that mind set. Paul McCartney on the other hand did. It's a funny twist of fate. And it's also why John Lennon is preaching working class ethics to the poor, to keep em poor. Did you even listen to the video? I suppose you did, but did not quite understand.

if a person earns some money and manages to live happily without dreaming for luxurious life by keeping his budget of spending according to his earnings then what's the problem?
is money everything ? are all the rich people happy? the idea he is trying to propagate might lead the doctors to first build a hospital of their own and then find no nurses and other doctors to work for him because they won't agree to work for him instead they all want to be like him.
the teachers would first look to build schools of their own then find no other teachers to work for him or her.
even the pilots would try having their own airlines instead of working for someone ..
there would be no soldiers to look after the security , why should they? after all they might also want to be business men and rich.
i again say money is not everything for many people .
i have a business and i employ some people but I sometimes feel they are happier than me and they must be thinking the opposite.
Yeah well why dont you live like them? Sorry but sounds like you were born with a spoon in your mouth. Most affluent Indians are. I mean you guys don't even need to find your own wife.
Its different in other societies, you grow yourself to get it not get it given to you. Perhaps in your case it would be and I can see why.
You can have an employee owned corporation. Maybe that will make everyone happy?

It’s dangerous to think you have all the answers, it’s more important to ask questions in order for everyone to collectively solve an issue.
It should honestly be a crime to not teach about money in school especially if people accumulate thousands of debt to get it. 🤷🏻♂️
People are also at fault, by, 1. not even observing the situation. 2. Not educating themselves. Most billionaires never went to or finished college 3. Not doing anything to change the system.4. Supporting or being part of the system.
@Jean Sullivan then the education system should be mandated to only charge what their diplomas are worth. Eventually the majority, which are the "comfortable workers" u speak of will revolt. How will u make your profits then?
@@gaarcemail pretty sad in this day and age we incentivise people to cheat other people out of their earnings, instead of the educated. It's pretty obvious the general populace is over that old way of thinking. Nobody should be able to leech societies money to the point of damaging said society...
@Jean Sullivan most rich get rich by over valuating something, convincing a massive amount of people to give a little of their earnings, to the rich persons benefit, not mutual benefit. I for one try to buy everything direct n online, no middle man sales snake in between or paying for frivulous things like a store front or shareholders. I would love solar panels to not pay the electric man. Most people don't want to be rich, just not dependent. The rich have manipulated society to be dependent, so we can make them rich. That's y the rich hate the idea of legalized marijuana for example. Because you can't tax or make a profit on a plant u can grow on your own. That's y they don't want us to have solar panels, Wells. They want us dependent on their pre built systems. It's a joke most young people see right thru today.
@@OrlandoSuave That is one of the reasons I got out of sales. It's the Modus Operandi of all businesses industry, to deceive the public by what ever trick possible, to get people to buy their products and services; products made cheap that won't last, hailed as the new marvel, services engineered to snag a customer in to an agreement, that will cheat them out of their money, with lousy and sometimes with services, that the public could obtain free, through other venues. I used to think older people where cynical, because they where just miserable, no, they are cynical through wisdom gained through experience.

Having money gives you some options to choose what you want to do. No money? No choice because then your first task is to go out and get some money.
My friend and I are public school teachers, and now we are starting a computer shop business. We got inspired after reading your book rich Dad poor Dad. We are still in our early twenties and you are right, we are educators ourselves but we are just as dumb as everyone when it comes to money. But now, we are starting to make out of something. We are now on our way to open our shop. Good luck on us.
School system trains people to do 'cut-paper-jobs', follow someone's instructions and work for someone.

Yes. And those who complete school and go on to university never contribute anything and also just cut-and-paste. Oh, wait--they're the scientists who discover the underlying principles of the universe and the engineers who design and help build the systems upon which most of the civilized world is based and the artists and writers who help us all remain sane--insofar as we do! Wayne Brehaut very few actually do this

The real problem is defining success and failure entirely in terms of money. Rich people are so programmed to it that they are incapable of seeing it from any other perspective.
... You missed what he was saying, dude.
Most people who are rich produce and save.
You need to look up the story about the three brothers. The three class model it illustrates...
The rich have to think about money because everyone wants to be lazy and steal from the ones who produce. But in doing so, they give up their power of self determination.
They value power in the form of 💷 money! 😢 ✔️
Don't tempt thieves! 😢 ✔️
"There are people poorer than you, happier than you."
@mxlbabe I'm not gonna lie- nothing makes you sound ignorant quite like saying "you misunderstand" without saying anything about why. And, I have found it is generally safe to assume someone who tells you how good they are with money is a fountain of shit. Even worse when you actually have been studying it, and know that assessment to be false.
That said, ingorance is not fought without facts- so here:

The parable of the three brothers. And the slow destruction of the charitable spirit of America. Not through the "greed of the wealthy".
If you read The Millionaire Next Door you would know most wealth in the US is first generation wealth, blue collar; and, as a rule, they give generously.
No, corruption doues not work like that. Most of our current problems origionated through a political machine designed to turn the poor into vote cattle... And a lower class willing to give up their power for a handout, out of ignorance.
Don't just follow the predetermined path to go broke.
Go on the path where few people are going and you will get what few people have.
Millionaire Journey great thought. We have to find who we are and build ourselves instead of following others
We have to first identify who we are, then choose the right path and chase excellence in it!

However personal experience, I worked my entire life from homelessness, to section 8, to opening a multi million dollar Brewery. I was offered all kinds of things from the city I'm in, but I opened in an area where there are not enough jobs and all of those are minimum wage. So the Brewery that's been there for years did EVERYTHING to make my life harder. Using local counsel leverage, getting law enforcement involved, even going as low as sending fake customers to review bomb us.

The only thing that will build strength and improve bone density that you will need to stay strong and fit in old age is STRENGTH training, not cardio.
You don’t gotta lift heavy. As long as you put in the work. It’ll show.
