    New to the channel Darren. Very well presented mate, and I'll definitely be viewing your other vids. Was gonna have a shot down Seaham today , but being an eejit, managed to talk myself out of it, with it being so flat. Maybe have a chuck tomorrow neet, unless she who must be obeyed has other plans lol. Good luck on the bass hunt marra.

      Welcome Larry. I am guilty of the same at times. Usually, it's the warmth of my house that stops me!!. Good luck and thank you for subscribing. Hopefully you will enjoy what I create. Tight lines.

    Another cracking video , I always carry a spare bag in my tackle box to put my rubbish in and take it home. Hate seeing other anglers crap lying around . I remember a few years ago i was fishing the river at Cambois using ragworm and another asngler came down next to me and was using Crab , I caught 4 cod and he had 0. They were taking ragworm and ignoring crab.

    • @northeastangling
      @northeastangling  2 дні тому +1

      Aye, not the bait it once was. Ragworm is cheaper, so it's happy days ☺️ All the best Alan.

    Your a lucky man Dazzo some great fishing with a good variety of venues over yourside on the Eastcoast mate👍,,,long story short I have a step daughter lives in Sunderland ,,been promising to visit for about 3 years now,,think this year it’s gonna happen just hope she has a enough room for my fishing gear and happy for lug worm in her fridge?🤔😂😂anyway keep them comin,,cheers and tightlines Gary,👍🎣

    • @northeastangling
      @northeastangling  3 дні тому

      Thanks for watching Gary. There are lots of great little marks in the North East. Most are centred around the Cod fishing. During the summer months the Northumberland Beaches can give some good sport too. Get yourself over and have a go! All the best 👍

    At least it wasn't a blank session. Nice to see a flounder, they've been conspicuous in their absence. 🎣🎣

    • @northeastangling
      @northeastangling  3 дні тому +1

      The Tyne always had a good head of large flounder. They fed up on the peeler crab. However, due to lots of fresh water last year, the peel was very poor. Maybe the bigger fish have just gone to the coastline to feed. They generally do this time of year anyway. However, the summer fish have all been juvenile. Thanks for watching .

    Another great video me chum. Enjoyed the calmness and colourful skies on this one, also looks to be a very comfortable venue to fish from, would you know how it got its name ? Well done on pulling something out on what seemed to be difficult conditions, but as you say it’s not always about the fishing as in all your videos to me you make your audience feel as if the are there beside you enjoying what you do best.
    Until the next one tight lines and one day it will be screaming reels.

      Hi Steve. Mrs North East Angling did some digging. The monks used to collect Gorse there in the 11th century for medical use. From then on, that part of Felling was called Friars Goose 👍

      @@northeastanglingdo you buy the frozen peeler from Wrigglers or the live peeler then freeze them yourself. I bought a load of frozen peeler from them last year and there was a delay with the courier and it had all defrosted and was spoilt ( no criticism of Wrigglers it's the chance you take with frozen bait ). Tight lines

    • @northeastangling
      @northeastangling  3 дні тому

      @Kelp-Jungle I bought them fresh. All arrived safely. Had some bad experiences buying frozen last year.

    • @Kelp-Jungle
      @Kelp-Jungle 3 дні тому

      @@northeastangling aye I think fresh is probably the best route. You can get away with it with other baits but once peeler defrosts it's no good to anyone. Tight lines
