So handy. Now I don't use generic tv box. All my tv, movie, youtube, netflix access on pc. I use pc for family living room entertainment. Master race lol
The power button in this remote also works in all tv

U can pair power button of this remote with your tv ir remote
Press and hold the power button on this air mouse remote till the light blinks and then the light stays on stady then keep your tv' ir remote in front of air mouse remove both remotes facing each other then press power button on the tv ir remote for 4 to 5 times
And then u can use air mouse remote to on or off your tv.
The back/home button of this remote also works
If you press and hold the back/home button it will open all apps
If you turn on the mouse on the remote then the back/home button will function as back button
And if you turn off mouse on the air mouse remote then the back/home button will function as home button

I had a different remote that if i watched a movie show etc .i would have to stand up reconnect the usb to make it work again.with this remote will it still work if i watch something with out having to stand up up replug the usb?

I know i'm late to the party, but i got one of these a couple months ago. I love it for my HTPC/PI. But i also noticed the IR bulb on the end, is there a way to program a button to use with my TV for on/off? or is it just cosmetic or something? I also found one with the O and P in the proper spot. much more useable lol
We haven't found a way to use the IR bulb to turn on/off the TV. Let us know if you find a way.
How to reset? Mine got it’s light flashing whenever I press a key after my daughter accidentally stepped on it.
There's really no reset. You'll probably have to disassemble it and see if anything is broken. If it has a removable battery, taking the battery out for 15 seconds and then putting it back in should reset it.
I use this for my Android Box, the bad thing about this remote they combine back and home button together, so when you want to go back to the previous page it will jump straight to Home./ main page ..you must reopen the application again example : youtube..( this happen when you use manual button / disable the pointer).

i have been using the mouse for about a week, and lost the pairing to the dongle. How do yo re-pair? According to the instructions, the "ok" button and "Return" button need to be pressed at same time for 2 seconds; but does not work. I liked the mouse so much, i have bought the same mouse again. The same thing is happening with the new mouse. So how can the pairing be done?

1 question... with the ODroid C1+ there is infrared on board. can we use the IR Remote without using the Dongle?
+Russell Holt That is a good question. We'll have to give that a try! But if it does work, it will only be a subset of the functions of the remote.

@@serenarichards6815 No, the mouse is tied to the one that came with it. This is so that if you have more than one, they don't interfere with each other.
good vid - the audio, however, with the voice coming through left speaker and the music coming through the right speaker, makes for a nauseating headphone experience..

Thanks for this video. I'm grateful. But I got a smart TV last night, after mounting in on the wall I see your video and learn that there was meant to be a USB dongle inside. Now that its not there. Can I buy any other USB dongle separate from what came with the phone?

The USB dongle has to be paired with the remote. It is a complicated process that we don't know how to do - it comes from the factory paired.

How did you use the mouse.. I have same Remote what you have but the mouse doesn’t work only the keyboard.
Theres a switch on the back to activate air mouse.
It work on my none smart tv as well
How long for it to be fully charged?
It depends on what wattage the USB charger is. In our experience, it charges pretty fast (around 1hr.) on a good quality charger.

These things fail very quickly, they lose touch with the receiver dongle after some time
I don't see the green on my mouse what's happening
Is there any way to re-pair the air mouse with the receiver ? .. i had 2 of these air mouses for years and now they both seem to not be able to pair and have rendered itself useless ... If i can salvage it then great but if not i will just have to get a new one
We are not aware of the method of how to re-pair the mouse with the receiver. Sorry...

@@CageVsCage I had to re-pair mine a couple of times already and it works. I just press and hold home+ok button for like 10-20secs and it works again

Uhmmm... I need your help, I hope you will reply. I have problem fixing the remote, when I pressed any button, the button will always blink. I try to reset the remote using the keys (home and ok button) at the same time. But still it did not work, it's always blinking when I pressed any keys. Do you know how to fix this?
Unfortunately, we haven't seen this problem before, and we don't know how to fix it.
Please I got a smart TV that came with the air smart remote, I am finding it difficult to connect and also that stuff the looks like a USB, can I connect it directly to my TV?
Depending on your smart TV. If it has a USB port, you should be able to put the receiver in there and a quality TV should recognize it as the remote.

What is the effective range of that mouse. Can it function properly from across a room; say about 10 -15 ft?
It can easily go 10 to 15 feet. Probably 30 feet.
@@Ameridroid1 Thanks, I think I will order one. I just want to be able to control my stuff from my chair. The remote for my sound bar only reaches about 6-7 feet. Bought a another remote and it goes about 9-10 feet. Close but still aggravating. Both of them are limited in range.

First, try it on a different computer and see if the problem is the computer or the device. Make sure the remote is fully charged. If neither of those work, contact the place where you bought it from.

Not for this particular model. But there are other models that do use Bluetooth.

Try it in a different computer. If it does the same thing, make sure it is fully charged. If it still doesn't work, your unit may be broken.

It should have enough charge after 15 minutes. But it would be best to charge it until the charge light turns off.

Found the solution if anybody ever wonders... Download button mapper on play and tweak the home button.. I have hold for home and click for back

IIRC, that means that the remote can't find the USB receiver. Are you sure that the USB receiver for the keyboard is plugged into your computer?

I got this yesterday. Charged it for an hour. It was on, tries to use it for prob less than a minute. When I went back an hour later to test it again, it seems like it has completely died as I can only use it when plugged.
The problem is, now it can't be used unplugged at all? Seems like there's no battery at all. Is this a known issue?

That is changed in the operating system that you are using. In Android, it will be in the settings section.

You would probably have to find an app that can take the input from the mouse and translate it to act like a tilt sensor on a phone.
Why are they so far out of whack? Yours is the same as mine, I am pointing out the window and the mouse is only at the edge of my screen. How does one calibrate the gyroscope???
When the cursor gets to the edge of the screen, keep moving the mouse until it is pointing at the cursor. Then it will be "calibrated".
Also, the comment from "Peter mindyourown" may help in how to calibrate it.
I tried that and it did 'not' work. When I move the pointer from pointing out the window (where the cursor is just to the right edge of the TV) to the edge of the screen (where it was when pointing out the window) then the cursor should just be at the right edge of the TV, it's then pointing to the left edge of the TV, where it should be just on the edge of the right side of the TV. It's very hard to explain, a video would show exactly what I mean. I am wondering however, if I bought a more expensive air fly mouse, would the tracking be better? This remote only cost me $ 6.00., on sale. I think I might of gotten a bad one because when I hit the power button on the remote, it only turns my box off, it doesn't work to turn the TV on??? Anyway, thanks very much for answering my question, I do sincerely appreciate it.
I may suggest that when you notice at what position on the screen the cursor initially appears (on Mac computers at StartUp; the cursor appears in the Top-Left Screen Corner) -
then simply hold your Air Mouse in a matching position when you first activate the air mouse function.
Just found the following in User Manual for what looks very much like this model:
"Automatic Cursor Calibration
If the pointer does not seem accurate or starts to drift, you can place the remote flat down onto a table for 3 seconds. The unit will recalibrate itself automatically."

On the backside (the opposite side of the keyboard), there is a button to the right of the home key. That is the right-click button.

I can't recall. But it is chiptunes, probably by Jogeir Liljedahl or similar.
Using mine on Windows 10 and the shift key doesn't do anything.
The shift key is not a standard shift key. You have to press the shift key and the key you want to be shifted at the same time.
How do u cap the letters?
You have to push the SHIFT key AT THE SAME TIME as the letter you want to cap. This is unlike a regular keyboard where you can press SHIFT and hold it while pressing the letter key.

Ctrl + [ works on many programs the same as Esc
How to use IR function.
We haven't tried the IR function. We imagine you'd have to train the receiving device to listen to the IR codes sent by this keyboard.
@@Ameridroid1 I have looked very hard around the internet to somehow get the key combination to start IR learning. I have been unsuccessful so far. Can you somehow get IR learning trick from manufacturers or your other sources ?

The narrator said it comes with a wifi dongle. I'm guessing they meant blue tooth dongle.
It has some type of proprietary wireless dongle. Possibly bluetooth-based, or possibly based on some other WiFi technology.
Paul Miller Wireless used is 2.4GHz RF, not Bluetooth or Wifi... Logitech uses the same wireless tech on their non-Bluetooth Keyboards and mice...

The receiver has to be in the USB port of the unit that you're controlling (Android Smart TV box, PC, Mac, etc.), and the unit has to recognize the receiver. Some smart TVs don't support additional remotes through the USB port.
