Edit: I’d just like the clarify I believe this could of been a great anthem from three female powerhouses but the final production of the beat and melody and the fact that the three women didn’t get to harmonise together was the biggest downfall for me.

It’s not advertised as such. It would be more accurate if it was Ariana Grande ft Miley Cyrus and Lana Del Ray but that wasn’t the case. Hell, I don't listen to these 3 artists on their own, but have heard some of their songs (and also respect them because they have killer voices, just their genre isn't typically what I listen to), so I was hyped to heard a song with all 3 of them and I have to agree with Tristan, I feel like they could've done more to make this an epic collab, but it feels more like they just stuck 3 parts of a song together... like Neapolitan ice cream, as opposed to chocolate ice cream with white chocolate chips and strawberry chunks.

I like the diversity of their voices and styles, they all *highlight* eachother. They’re different as, Miley, Ariana and Lana but that’s what I think makes it work. If they all sounded and sang the same I don’t think I’d like it as much...

It felt like listening to three different versions of the song cut into one. If the producers had all three singing the chorus, I felt it would have been a more cohesive piece.

Amy Brooks i guarantee you know who Lana is if you were culturally conscious around 2012/2013 Ish. Her song Young and Beautiful was literally everywhere (there’s a vine with a chicken in a red dress and you can hear her go “my red dress on tonight...dancing in the dark in the pale moon light” which kills me EVERY TIME 😂) and a few of her other songs have gotten really popular too (she’s more indie but she’s a popular indie artist if that makes any sense? I would have LOVED this song if they'd had each artist do their own solo version, the cut and paste turn based colab just makes it feel like something was smooshed together instead of a group piece.
To me, Miley's part was the most dynamic and I felt cheated by Lana's as they kept her in that tight, narrow range instead of really unleashing her vocals. And while I love Ari, her part sounds a lot like her other songs.
