Got mine an hour ago, already installed and working. They look great and are incredibly smooth, it’s real solid engineering as it should be, not low cost mass production. It’s early days but from a quick test it seems easier to hover a helicopter in DCS. I haven’t bothered with the software, I plugged them in and DCS picked them up straight away so until I know otherwise I’ll just use the DCS axis tune so I can have it different for each aircraft.
Seen a couple of videos reviewing these stunning looking rudder pedals. Didn't even know they existed until a few days ago. They are going to be my next hardware purchase.
I bought these and probably going to get this as a christmas present for myself next week, cant wait! I've wanted these for like 2 years and i have Hotas Warthog waiting for these pedals!
I just ordered mine today. My CH Pedals of many years left toe break axis went out and I can not even control the plane on the ground. These will be a HUGE step up. i can't wait. Thanks for the review!
About a year and a half but from. The time of order, about 2-3 months. I think I ordered in April and got them at the end of June early july. Their cnc guy quit this summer a d they pushed a lot of orders back
Well I will tell ya it makes me want a set. The way you did this really shows off those pedals. There are some good comments on the ADX site about this video also. :)
So I dunno if you'll actually respond, but how well would these work with a chair with almost full-length arms? I'm distinctly unhappy with my CH Fighterstick and Pedals (throttle is kinda awesome though) and while I look for a replacement for the stick, I'm really thinking about saving up for these to replace the pedals. How much would I be able to adjust the width of the pedals?
Mine came in today and indeed very well packaged. I'm using them with IL2 and it's a game changer! pun intended. Oh and they're plug'n play too. har-har-har...
Great review. I actually went with the Slaw Device pedals instead of the MFG. I wanted the all metal construction and the oblong base suited my rig where the MFG's wouldn't have fitted the space available. Most expensive single piece sim peripheral I've bought (Warthog is 2 pieces) but my god the difference is incredible over my Saitek Combat Rudders. I'm a DCS guy mainly and never had the ability to fly the UH-!H Huey before without it ending in a burning wreck. Now tiny yawing is so precise its become a really enjoyable experience. Liked and subbed. Cheers.
+RenovatioJuris Hey Renovatio. The Slaws are some nice hardware! I was looking at those as well but the wall spacing didnt work for me. Sounds like you have a sweet setup and I am sure you will enjoy them!
Can you align a toe break horizontally, then give it a new axis center and split the axis into both forward and backward deflections? Meaning being able to tilt the toe breaks from a neutral horizontal position to either a forward position or backward position.
Yeah basically I would like to get one pedal's axis to register both negative and positive inputs. Is the spring capable of recentering if depressed in either direction? With this functionality I would be able to bind 2 functions like strafe up/down to a single pedal. Thanks for the info.
Out of curiousity, what realism settings do you fly with? I'm a very avid flyer of thePMDG 737 and have my realism settings up all the way, but I found that the plane naturally yaws left. I'm looking for realism especially for crosswind landings and if the plane yaws left without me putting any rudder input then it's basically an autorudder if there's a crosswind coming from the left. Do you have any suggestions as to what settings in FSX provide the most real like feel. Or if there is any addons I am not opposed to buying it. Thanx for the help!
+Ricky Castrigano The plane yaws left because of the torque of the engine along with the natural airflow of the air from the propeller vortex which causes the plane to yaw left. You can turn down the settings in realism to make this more comfortable for you, but generally I fly with the sliders all the way up and just fight it.
+Jordan King thanks for the reply, ive been testing things, but even on takeoff if theres a heavy crosswind, as i start my takeoff roll the plane will yaw on the ground into the direction of the wind. Im starting to get the impression that the plane autorudders for wind. The box in the settings is not checked. I dont know whats going on haha
I know it was a year ago, and you may have realised the answer by now, but it may be down to "weathercocking". If the crosswind force acting on the vertical fin & rudder, overcomes the sideways force on the fuselage then the plane will point into wind. I'm not saying it's correct for the type of aircraft you're flying, but it can happen. Now if the plane is yawing left without a crosswind from the left then perhaps there is a calibration issue with your hardware - recalibrate and/or increase the dead zone slightly?
A huge complaint I'm finding about these things is a lack of confidence in centering. Consistently, reviewers state that they are often unable to discern whether or not the rudder is centered while flying. Have you noticed this? Could this be remedied in some way? Perhaps by having a deeper detent in the cam or by having springs which will more strongly recenter? Maybe creating a larger deadzone in software will remedy this complaint? What do you think?
Thank you for this review. Looks like availability is scheduled for Feb 2016. I have tried to contact MFG via their web site, but received no response and no confirmation that they received my request for info. Do you have an actual email account I can use to get more info?
+Rob Ainscough Hey Rob. Thanks for stopping by. The email I used was mfg@simundza.com where I always got a prompt response. if you for some reason you cant reach him let me know and I will try to reach out on my end as well. Maybe he is on holiday?
I was searching the internet because occasionally I like to drool over high end equipment that I will never be able to afford. I found things from helicopter flight systems, high end rudder pedals and yokes to full cockpits and flight decks, but I found very little in the way of flight sticks. As someone that is into racing sims, I know that there is what is considered high end by the casual crowd and then there is the real high end stuff that make the more commercial products look like toys. I fail to believe the Thrustmaster Hotas is as high end as it gets. The one exception I found was the Paccus hydraulic joystick, which personally I think is pretty ugly. So, where are all the high end flight sticks?
+napalmhardcore You are absolutely correct. We are lacking some good all around yokes for Flight Simulation. You have Yoko, Elite Simulations, and Go Flight but none really completely do the job for us.
Better yet, the IRIS Dynamics Force feedback yoke ... I had been keeping a close eye on their kickstarter a couple years ago and thought they fell through and went out of business before delivering final product, but just now found them being sold from pilotshop ... $1200 :( .. I'll have to make due with my thrustmaster warthog joystick for now -- just paid for my MFG Crosswind , so good to go..
+adam elias They dont have a demo yet do they? They are still in the development planning phase but havent produced anything as of yet to really look at.
They are pretty versatile, and for someone such as myself, I enjoy pedals that I can use in a number of scenarios and aircraft. This does the trick for me.
I went with the cheaper CH Pedals and I'm pretty happy with them other than the spacing (pedals are close) and the noise (not too loud but just enough where it's like I'd rather not hear them move). And I did a mod myself on them sort of like the EzeMod by cutting up a mouse wrist rest and sticking it to the pedals and putting them on sloped pads.
I have tried to order these but can't seem to get a conformation that my order has gone through. Does he take a while to get in contact with you or should I just be patient?
+Luda Chris I bought a damper, installed it, still prefer the MFG's. And to think you have to buy an additional 3rd party addon for an already expensive pair of pedals was crazy enough.
I have been using rudder pedals for over 75 years, they all functioned the same way in crosswind but they were never referred to as crosswind rudder pedals. Please enlighten me what is special about these to justify the name Crosswind.
It looks cool, but being made entirely of "composite" really worries me. I live in a hot climate so anything made of plastic gets soft and droopy. It's hard to believe these pedals won't look like a warped Dali piece of art in a few years.
Hello Jordan: Looks like a good investment... Really appreciate your videos. Do you ever fly to Las Vegas? If so would like to get together with you and buy you lunch, and talk flight simulation, one real world pilot to another. Any chance?
+John Van Duren Glad you enjoyed them! I am in Vegas a couple of times a year so next time I am there I will look you up. Send me a private message here on youtube.
Overrated and somewhat overpriced pedals. These are plastic, don't have provision for hydraulic dampener. Not designed for different controllers (Master/Slave). I'd get BRD or Slaw if I was in the market for pedals. They are metal, have dampeners, have more adjustments and are overall much better products.
Never heard of BRD, but I have tried Slaw and they are great, installed the dampner and they got better, but they are far to overpriced compared to these and there is certainly not as much adjustability with the Slaw's as there is with these. The material is as solid as anything I have put my feet on in a plane and serve their purpose with great accuracy and ergonomic options. I am more than happy with these for the money.

I just received mine. Less than a week from Croatia to New England, US. Worth EVERY penny!

+Stephen Westrip There is a long wait, but they are soooooo worth it!
i recently bought the MFG Crosswind i really like them, but i just can not get my toe breaks to . Have any ideals, Thanks
I bought these and probably going to get this as a christmas present for myself next week, cant wait! I've wanted these for like 2 years and i have Hotas Warthog waiting for these pedals!
Sounds like a nice setup! Enjoy!
Congrats..looking for a pair myself..can I ask ballpark how much are they? Is MFG the only place to buy? Thx

Joe Earley Hows your experience? It comes assembeled or we have to do ourself?
+Kk - I explain in the video.
I took the leap and got on the list. I have been using these for 6 months and they are great. I recommend this product. They are worth the wait.
They are awesome. I still love mine.
Thank you so much for this video. Got my MFG today and whoa! very impressive indeed
+TheHatchSwan Lucky you! They are a unique piece of work.
I'm so fucking stoked, mine are finally ready, and shipping out in a few days. I've been waiting a long time for these.
You will love them when they get there! Enjoy!
How long?

WOW! Amazing pedals and another amazing review video by the one ad only Jordan King! Thank you :)
+Ross G Thanks pal. Was my first hardware review so took a while to get the angles down right.
Well I will tell ya it makes me want a set. The way you did this really shows off those pedals. There are some good comments on the ADX site about this video also. :)
i found them! didn't know what brand they were because i just seen a photo of them. now i buy them today!
Great video - thanks. I appreciated the detail you covered here. Ordered mine an hour ago.
I normally never comment anything, but gotta say: Great vid man! You got it all covered in this video! 18 mins well spent.
Great video. I only fly combat flight sim so it was good to know you can use those pedals for those too.
Excellent review... What yoke do you use/prefer?
Fantastic video! You have a natural talent! Keep up the good work!
+Yefim Leo Thank you for the kind words

Is this a kit? I understand that you can configure them to taste, but I'd hate get a box of parts and scratch everything up putting it together.
Mine came in today and indeed very well packaged. I'm using them with IL2 and it's a game changer! pun intended.
Oh and they're plug'n play too. har-har-har...
If you want a pro set of rudder pedals, there is no other choice.
They are the same quality as the thrustmaster warthog flight stick.
Outstanding!
scarecrow _ actually there are the slaw device pedals as well
You could buy two crosswinds for the price of 1 Slaw set of pedals.
I'm wondering how these will compare to the new Virpil rudder pedals?
Great review. I actually went with the Slaw Device pedals instead of the MFG. Hi Jordan, thanks for the email, will give that a try ... rudders are exactly what I'm looking for.
Oh man I might have to pick up a set of these!
I was searching the internet because occasionally I like to drool over high end equipment that I will never be able to afford. I found things from helicopter flight systems, high end rudder pedals and yokes to full cockpits and flight decks, but I found very little in the way of flight sticks.

Do these pedals come with a cable or would you have to buy one individually?
Yes, it is supplied.
jordan can you make a how to download aircraft video for steam like a320
Hey Jordan, can you make a video abaut Next Gen Flight Sim? It would be amazing!! Keep the good work ;D
+adam elias They dont have a demo yet do they? They are still in the development planning phase but havent produced anything as of yet to really look at.
Okey, thank you very much!
Excellent explanation - Thanks!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Are the screwdrivers included?
Ikea pedals! They look awesome but I probanly wouldn't spend $350 on pedals unless they were customized to be a specific aircraft.
They are pretty versatile, and for someone such as myself, I enjoy pedals that I can use in a number of scenarios and aircraft. This does the trick for me.
I went with the cheaper CH Pedals and I'm pretty happy with them other than the spacing (pedals are close) and the noise (not too loud but just enough where it's like I'd rather not hear them move). lol is that the original uwell crown on that vape?
I have tried to order these but can't seem to get a conformation that my order has gone through. Does he take a while to get in contact with you or should I just be patient?
+57strub Email them using the email address on their site. You should be able to get help from there. It does take time though.
Slaw Device Looks and feels way better !
I personally didn't enjoy the Slaw, the new RX version may be better but I prefer the feel and customization of the MFG. Also it costs much less.
+Jordan King sounds to me like u never had the chance to enjoy slaws's pedals with the optional steering damper ;)
+Luda Chris I bought a damper, installed it, still prefer the MFG's. And to think you have to buy an additional 3rd party addon for an already expensive pair of pedals was crazy enough.
so everyone got his opinion :)
+Luda Chris Yup. Like I said, nice pedals. Just not worth it for the money in my opinion in everyone's home cockpit
I have mine on order, still waiting. :(
So are you sponsored by them? I just want to know if it really comes from the heart or from the script seems like you were told what to do.
It's funny when the rudder pedals you use in flight sims are probably better than anything you'd find in a almost any real aircraft.
Well nothing will ever compare to real rudders. Its just a completely different response, but these are really nice for simming.
what link sells it?
Hmm when i deploy my brakes and realease it keeps breaking please help!
In the controller configuration, make sure you back down your null zones and reverse/invert your pedal inputs. This should fix it for you.
can u give me your FSX SE.CFG File?
I want these for ww2 sims. They look like a bf109's rudder pedals
+Ghosttardis That's exactly what I thought
do you even vape bro?
+Major Moore Lol. I was wondering who would be the first to see that!
very good informational video, but the back ground music is distracting and very annoying.
Is it compatible with fsuipc?
+buset1974 Yes
where do I get them?
Website in the description.
DUDE WHERE DID U GO???????
+planes21 My Saitek throttle broke, so I am waiting on a replacement. Trust me. I hate being away!
+Jordan King ok good
I have been using rudder pedals for over 75 years, they all functioned the same way in crosswind but they were never referred to as crosswind rudder pedals. Please enlighten me what is special about these to justify the name Crosswind.
"Crosswind" is the brand name for these pedals, nothing to do with using it in crosswinds...
Wait a minute! How about BRD?
Whats BRD?

Those rudders are Incredible! But you seriously fly with an xBox Controller? Not realy. ..
+GAMING SCHOOL I only used it for this video because I wanted to focus on the pedals, not my yoke throwing skills
what is the intro song
+matt mubarak (KidBehindAIphone) Its in the description. Its just an instrumental.

nice video en shoes😄
+Jeffrey Geenjaar lol. Thanks!
do more flight sim like fights
+Fabian Campbell Which flight do you want to see?
like regular flights
+Jordan King I would give the recommendation of KORD-KLAX
Dang. $350 with shipping. Guess it's time to start getting my degree.
Yep. $352.07 .. Just paid for mine., now just gotta wait for shipping :)
zarconeus lol try getting Slaw Device pedals
Those are $693! Why would he pay twice as much for combat pedals that dont offer as much adjustability?
Jordan King that's why I said it sarcastically, my point was if you think the crosswinds are expensive try taking a look Slaws.
This ain't no review this is an assembly of these.
16th view, 4th like and second comment! Ha!
8th like for this comment FIRST reply and I guess 20th view of the comment hehe
So cool.

Those are too far apart. I've never seen pedals that far apart
