I absolutely love lighthouses! I have some suggestions and *some* you might like. 1)some texture variation throughout the white portions of the lighthouse (maybe some birch planks, buttons, trapdoors, and/or fences). 2)Don’t forget to put a light night rod at the top to protect the building from thunderstorms(plus it looks good). 3)maybe have some stone (and/or the white concrete and sand) slightly climbing the base of it and fizzing out into the ground to make the lighthouse look like it’s been used and splashed on by the water and to make it look like part of the land. 4)what if you put the enchantment table down into the floor to make it more roomie and you can have a chandelier or whatever fills your fancy. 5)stained glass instead of regular?! I love me some white stained glass tbh😍 6)And for the roof, for some dimension/texture variation maybe some copper stairs and blue trapdoors(nether time?!)
Definitely, for the texture variations with the birch I think that some glow lichen here and there looks great too

It might make the roof look a bit too pointy, but maybe you could add a lighting rod on top of the lighthouse? It looks great already and I think adding a dock will be the icing on the cake, great video!
Hi Python, I think you can add some armour stands on the ground floor of the lighthouse. Making it a Home for your different sets of Trimmed/Enchanted Armour. Love your videos.

Aye, there were definitely design decisions that took some deciding! My indecisiveness would've gotten frustrating to watch after a while so I just sorta worked on it and got each bit done 😀

I loved the episode, the lighthouse looks fantastic. as a suggestion, why not rebuild the ship to be able to connect via a bridge, to the tower. that way you can easily connect the two builds making enchanting and ex gathering that much smoother.

Hear me out... Villagers aka cartographers and librarians on the second and third floor ya see the stairs patterns inside those could be 2 extra floors and a way to get there then use workstations to lure villagers on temporary staircases on the outside I mean every lighthouse needs a operating crew and who better than villagers that are smart aka librarians and villagers that chart maps for ship captains to sail to new areas aka the cartographers. Love the vids man keep it up :)

Love to see that you are enjoing this season this much, suggestion for the island, add some dolosse (the weird concrete things on breakwaters) around the lighthouse, also add some amethyst crystals and the lush cave flower for some particles above the enchant setup!

A trick I've seen elsewhere: Put a waterlogged chest at the bottom of the drop chute, that way you don't take any damage but you can just walk out, without bobbing up and down. Great build, have a wonderful day :)

I was expecting you to place a lightning rod on top of the lighthouse roof. It would be amazing to watch lightning hit it during a thunderstorm. 😊

Stunning build! This is easily my favourite episode of season 3 so far.
i believe there is still a maze in the dungeon. In an earlier episode, you stumbled upon the maze did something with torches with it and said i will do this later, now i can be wrong but i think you did not do anything with it. love the ep!!!

Dude I love the lighthouse! It’s a different block pallet and different kind of style from all your other builds you’ve done in your past series. Great job python!
I really like the build, I would suggest incorporating the yellow variant of the frog light block and or end rods to the top of the light house somehow, considering it IS a LIGHT house. That way you can really see it stand out at night and from a far. well done python keep it up.

The lighthouse looks great! Personally I'd have left the birch wood unstripped, it actually looked kind of cool, but birch isn't for everyone. A suggestion - maybe if you kept the thicker stripes at the lower levels of the tower and only thinned them out towards the top? That would fill up more space near the bottom. Also maybe some glazed terracotta could be cool as decoration.
That's a pretty good idea tbf, thick strip at the bottom, thinner toward the top 😀

hey python, a suggestion, pls put a lightning rod on top of the lighthouse so that none of your wood builds are in danger from lightning strikes

You should have used the new copper light source for the spiral on the tower, then it would be truly a "light house".
I absolutely love this seed! I started my own world on in just a few days ago. I have found so many villagers on my way to make my base in the same location that you are in now. The only thing I didn't like was once I got there there isn't a shipwreck on bedrock just a sandy island there. But I have cleared a space and will start building my base soon in the hillside behind where your base is.

ITS FINALLY LIGHTHOUSE DAY
If you like it, put a wall on the highest block, then a fence on top of the wall, and then an iron bar on top of the fence. That'll add even more texture to the top of your lighthouse. P.S., somehow you've managed to make birch wood and copper look good haha
Here's a thought for at the top, maybe incorporate a beacon. Gotta light the way ;) anyways, I love the content.

You need a lighting rod on the tippy top of the lighthouse to keep your stuff safe from the lighting.

Aye, that's a good idea! I'm a little concerned about the fact that half the build is wood but hopefully the lightning will only ever hit the rod and not around it! 😀

I like the Lighthouse but i feel it is missing the 'lighthouse' element of the spinning light at the top. Perhapse a idea to hide such so you do not go crazy while enchanting you could hide the redstone in a layer under the top white band. Replacing some of concreate with redstone lamps?

all that work, forgot stairs and a lightning rod but the watervator is cool never thought of using trapdoors for the sides of it and now I'm wondering how well they will work for water streams though I'd probably revert back to just glass blocks or what ever block is handy

I don't really like how chubby the lighthouse looks. It could have been better if it didn't start so large
Also the roof like that doesn't really work for a lighthouse, a dome may have been better
