few years ago i asked a Bunch of seattle bike shopto do this . they were clueless . i did it putting 2.5 maxxis hookworms on 4' fat rims with bare hands on a Sumo ebike. Saves on weight and speed ⚡ i love the the low profile look it gives

Did this the other day. Got 4in rims, 2.25in tyres and 3in inner tubes, just like the man says. Only thing I did differently was wet the tube, rim and inside the tyre with some very soapy water, makes everything go into place really easy.

Can i put a 20X2.45 bmx tires to a 20X4.0 rims? And what size of tube do i need to use?. I hope you can help me. I also want those stretched tires on my ebike. Thank you
@quadzone ok, so almost 4 inches wide. You can use a 26x2.25 tire and the same tube. That'll stretch it. Also, depending on the tire. You want a tire that doesn't have a high wall. Looks more rounded.
I love my 26x4 tires. Softens a hardtail. I mounted 2.5/3" wide tires on 1" rims before. Never going back to skinnies. Fat bike for life🍻

It'll be fine. Might need to play with it to get it to no oval some. Put a little air in it, then check to see if it's seating.

Anesthetics for sure but they're just as reliable as any wheel. The 72 spoke is for the look for sure.

Yep! On a 2.25 you can use your tube it'll give the tire a stretched look.

You need a 3" tube and yes, you can fit them. It will be hard to get on so take your time.
